To describe the person: King of Swords What's important to him: 3 of Swords To describe me: The Tower What's important to me: The Lovers Where the relationship's headed: The HierophantThe Tower and 3 of Swords don't look good, but the next two cards I interpret as rather positive, especially the Hierophant as the relationship's future (wisdom, marriage, tradition). What do you guys think? IP: Logged |

King of Swords: He is an authority, a man of power. This could be literally or figuaratively speaking. Beware the king of swords, as he is a man of power, is also a great manipulator. That means he will step on people who do not stand up for themselves. If you consider a relationship with this man you will have to be a strong person. 3 of Swords: your question is too vague. What is important to him? You should try asking the deck a more direct question. The 3 of swords is the card of betrayal. If the question was, what is love to him? The answer is betrayal. What is life to him? Betrayal. Either way this heralds great struggle. It is never a good card. It does not mean he will betray you, but if he is someone tied to the card of betrayal, likely he has experienced it himself and so will have a hard time trusting you - and in the worst case he may commit the crimes he is afraid you will commit against him - like infidelity, deception, lies. It is an aspect you will need to be careful with. The Tower: The tower is burning and tumbling. Your question is, again, too vague. Most likely it does not describe your personality (how could one card do that anyway) but your present state of mind. You have to break down structures and perceptions, relationships even, and build anew. It is a time of turmoil. Tearing down the old to make space for the new. The Lovers: Romance. This card is positive but it is not the card of familial happiness (10 cups). Other love cards are 2 cups and 6 cups. To a degree the lovers are more of a sexual card, or infatuation. If this is drawn to describe you perhaps it means you are in love with the idea of love. It is a positive card in a love reading, but that was not the question asked. In answer to a question about a single person I would be sceptical. It can mean you are vulnerable to confirmation bias, you will want romance so much that you try to fit men who do not suit into the image of your perfect lover. It is something to be aware of, at least. Where the relationship's headed: The Hierophant. I would interpret this, in the context of this question, as great personal growth. This does not mean the relationship will be pleasant. It means it can be a great love or a terrible one, but it won't be a neutral one. A blissful, peaceful relationship does not give much room for growth. Either way it is a relationship that has the potential to teach you much, which is very valuable in itself. Hope this helps.
