[ I'll respond with my limited answers, after a few of my reading friends respond. ] As novice as this is many of us no matter of degree in which we are now are at in terms of Tarot-Wisdom. My Question is .. Which decks do you own that you would give ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ on them? Please share which one(s) and why.
Also which would you classify unworthy the time of any of us who wish to perhaps add to our collections. ⭐ worthy or less. Why.
Thank you! 💓🌸 I have a several not listed yet . I have yet to get a nice amount of use in those. These I've read with often. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Tarot of The Haunted House - Took me awhile to get in the zone with these. The c. Stock is good. They are not traditional at all. This deck isn't all scarey. There are a few dark cards that work well when reading on the darker side of personas. Not a high gloss or slippery deck. Of my decks, I feel these are my best ones. The Good Tarot - Huge deck. Which before I couldn't shuffle. I've adapted. Card stock is very nice. These are nice cards. On every level. I feel in Spiritual readings, these are a wonderful deck to have!
Tarot de Le Nuit - The Artwork is beautiful. I find this to be a nice deck for reading the character (s) in the stories. The court cards and Major Arcana are bold. Card stock isn't great but they are not a pricey deck. ⭐⭐⭐ Alchemy 1977 England Tarot deck I've revised my opinion based upon the size and card stock quality. I like the idea of the gothic look to the cards.
⭐⭐ Eight Coins Tarot - A big disappointment for me. I had thought this deck was one I had mistaken it for. The size and card stock are nice. These cards are vibrant and do offer the imagination to blend the story together. I like them - not a huge fan though. Not a quick read deck. Sitting with them possibly longer is required so details, clues are all caught. These might be nice as oracle cards.

I have tried to venture from the Rider Waite to other decks at least 5 times, and have always gone back. The connection is just too strong, Rider Waite feels like a seamless extension of me, whereas other decks feel like an ill-fitting, clumsy, extra limb, if that makes sense.------------------ Face a situation fearlessly, and there is no situation to face ~ Florence Scovel Shinn ~ IP: Logged |

It's funny you say this, though you did before. It has occurred to me, despite my having many different ones, I do as well like it. It is fundamental, which to get to a quick answer helps immensely.Thank you for your response Voix. IP: Logged |

It's a bit annoying though as there are some really aesthetically beautiful decks out there, and I love the idea of learning a new system and way of perceiving the energies through different archetypes, but I just go back. I have the travel size RW and a small Alchemist deck London 1977. My favorite. I use RW as a go to do others, the Alchemist for myself. The unique decks for my themes and year or intricate layouts. For extra details. How was your NY celebration? 🙂 .This year, I'm already Zzzzz lol IP: Logged |

I have spent time with my other decks. All but one or two anyway. My pov is much different now. I find them all useful. These offer different lenses to the stories. I'm going to keep practicing and learning the spreads with them. Once I get to a level of familiarity enough - I'll offer the review thread I meant to share. Gotta get my wisdom acquired first. I can’t remember, but I’ll add to this when I go through mine again. The Halloween tarot is one of my favorites. It’s cute, and easy to read with. IP: Logged |
