Have you noticed the recurring theme of a single rose?

If not, keep the rose in mind. It has meaning toward the end.

Also, keep this running theme in mind: That which is lost is found.

Yes that last one was very long! I may go back and re-read that- so much information. But yay I finished. I loved it.

^^ true. Also as you mentioned before about the surprise ending, it was- after I went on to read some threads here having to do with the actual outcome. With writing though sometimes we have to make up our own endings, whether for peace, closure, hope, wishful thinking, or just knowing the spirit of the beloved is here always...despite physical presence.

Yep, while much of Gooberz was true and factual from her life, the ending never happened.

At least it was a happy ending in the book.

I just lent my copy of Gooberz to my good friend who is 25 years older than me. He loved Star Signs/Linda Goodman when he was younger... I've lent him a couple of other books lately that he wasn't overly stoked on, but he's really really enjoying Gooberz and says that parts are like his own personal biography

I've loaned out a few copies of Star Signs and Gooberz. They are lost forever.

He is a very good friend and thankfully will for sure not take this copy, I've already expressed how precious it into me... I bought it just a few hours before me and my partner unexpectedly broke up for good... Miracles indeed....

I guess it wasn't so much that he did't like them but was so impressed with them as I was, partly because he said he felt like already knew most of it to be true... which I did as well but I am still impressed with people's ability to put those thoughts down on paper in such eloquent ways.

The books were "The Power of Now" and "Journey of Souls"

He's lent me a bunch of books in the past and some I have not always been so stoked on either, but its fun to try what other people read. If I ever get the time I'm supposed to read "Jesus on Mars" that he lent me. But I've got a million things to read, and do.

But anyway he's almost done the book and then we are going to discuss these two parts in the book that actually really upset me despite how much I love it. I want him to try and guess which parts.
