Yes I wasnt expecting such a large book! I am more thrilled than anything else. I'm up to Canto three now. I really cant put the book down, I will start again for our group read though. At the end of Canto two I literally cried. I really then knew everyone should have a copy of Gooberz in their home, should be as popular as peanut butter. I had the most amazing idea come to me after I read Canto two. I am going to order two more Gooberz, and take my mother, and a very dear friend of ours to the park and present them with two gifts, and all I'll ask is that they read one canto everynight. It will do them a world of good. I got so excited, I still am, I wish I can give it to them right now.

Other Cantos will hurt even worse, but you will also cry tears of sheer joy at some parts. No one writes like Linda. You can still write about the Cantos as we discuss them.

And some people think Linda was just an astrologer. No one can understand the unique relationship we have with Linda until they experience Gooberz themselves.

Sunchild, where are you at in Gooberz now? Have you gotten to the ants yet?

Yes Randall, I am up to canto 5.
I cant even explain what I felt inside...
yellow wax and the ants
I will soon post how I feel about each canto soon. Im just trying to find the words.

That is the most emotionally-stirring line in the book. For yellow wax and the ants.

Yes I had to put the book down after that canto. I was very emotionally stirred up and had to drop everything and reflect for a while. I very much needed rest, I felt emotionally exhausted.

I'm not sure if this is in Five or later, but I like where Linda compared aliens to us and us to ants, which isn't a bad thing--it all depends upon how one feels about ants.

Randall and all,
I'm sorry, things are so busy for me right now. I've been trying to get my hands on my copy of Gooberz to start reading again....but I have so many other responsibilities, I just can't seem to find time.
I'm very disappointed and trying not to be disappointed in myself...

I wish you all a wonderful reading. I'll try to pop in and see what you all are talking about.

best,
LMB

Must be a lot going on astrologically. Seems we are all just about in the same boat as you.
