I always wondered what the turbaned one meant when he said former incarnations, even in this one. Please reveal, Randall.IP: Logged |

I'm scared to read Gooberz right now because I have the inkling I will become very emotionally involved and heartbroken by this story. IP: Logged |

Almost every page in Gooberz is a tear-jerker, but some are happy tears.------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." Rebecca Clark IP: Logged |

i think the stars on the cover changed quantities with each different print - mine is a paperbook that has waaay too many stars to even count... i quite liked her inclusion of St. Francis' prayer - " Make me a channel of your peace " good words to live by...------------------ “Believe none of what you hear and half of what you see.” B.Franklin IP: Logged |

I want to give everyone a chance to respond before I reveal the answer to the riddle. Maybe another person will answer it.------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." Randall, I had thought that Gooberz was all completely symbolic and yes partly but not fully based on actual events, which makes it difficult to discern real events from metaphor. I remember her writing in Gooberz that this book was not written about anyone in particular but that it could be about you... So I have gotten really confused by it, although I understand most of the symbolism behind it.Linda's husband Sam Goodman is a Scorpio and not a Gemini or Leo like her loves in Gooberz. Am I right in connecting the two books together; Starsigns and Gooberz? Starsigns seems a much more practical and textual book than Gooberz... Does it fill in the gaps of Gooberz? IP: Logged |

I thought the meaning of the 'present time' thing was just that all time is happening at the same time. As in; past, present and future are all the same.IP: Logged |

Does it have something to do with being a test?I started trying to do bad shifting around of the letters: A lot of words came out of that statement: Present This is one present seven Open the present Open this Eve sent these oven Three No Present The sent one One present Proven In the present Protest Test This is the test This is the one The sent one This is the present Protest If it has nothing to do with being a "test" then I have no idea. It is a test, and if Linda failed the test, others would come forth to reveal the knowledge. Plus, there is the danger of becoming a fallen angel. This isn't in the Biblical sense, but just that one Twin would have to rescue the other. But it being a test isn't the riddle. The Saturn Seven Cycle is a great guess. But due to how he worded it, I don't think it's that. Will explain why. ------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." Slightly OT didn't one of her loves (Robert Brewer) disappear? Does this have something to do with what you are saying?IP: Logged |

This is great! I see you are putting us back to work, Randall This is good....K, I'll go get my book so I can join. If one disagrees, I think it's important for members to back it up explicitly, while keeping in mind we are discussing Linda's Star Signs!IP: Logged |

Does this mean for members to be more respectful to one another? I didn't quite follow what this meant

Brewer didn't disappear. Linda drove him away (a story for another time and place), and he remarried. I hear that she felt he would return to her someday and never gave up on him. ------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." Nope. But any of these guesses could be right. It's just my opinion, but within the context of the conversation, I think I solved it correctly. ------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you."
