...You expressed appreciation for Linda somewhere in this thread. I was griping elsewhere about what I perceived to be the lower kinds of Arian expressions here, but the other side of her is starting to dawn on me...how her unique outlook really creates a special opportunity for participation and self-expression here. I have only read her Sun and Love Sign books, thus far.

Regarding the 13th sign, Ophiuchus... it reminds me that I seem to have noticed quite a few women here with Sag sun and/or Asc...and likely some Ophiuchus, then. I have this Sun and Asc placement, using such dates as I have found offered in various articles.

This author http://the-red-thread.net/ophiuchus2.html states that this is the only sign of the zodiac linked to a real man (Asclepius, and associated with Imhotep and Enki...and Jacob of Old Testament). Your musings on balancing also remind me of my Venus Square Chiron, expressing a needing to heal and find a good expression of my anima after lifetimes of prehaps taking the animus male energy as far as I could--too far? I used to have a very hard time accepting my femaleness--because of my own prejudices I'd carried from male lifetimes. Took me years to be truly comfortable in my body. ...And "the Curse," i.e. "that time of the month." This to me is still a mystery to be solved. Why the suffering ('PMS')? What does this symbolize? While I am able to experience it as a boon, as far as putting me in a more internal, introspective space...it is a hardship. What else is there to learn with this one? Is it yet more of this balancing?
