Hi fellow Knowflakes!

Anybody out there have any encounters with Fairy Folk?

I haven't but hopefully one day I will.

My mom did - she's American Indian and the tribe she's from believes in the little people. Mom's actually seen them - the ones she saw lived by the water. And no, my mom isn't crazy - she's one of the saner people I know.

Kinda cool, eh? :-)

Pax et Bonum! Peace & Love!

Hi Comis! Long time no see.

That's very about your ma. I am completely fascinated by Native American culture.
When I was a little girl, I read this story about a chief who had a very special bond with an eagle (hawk?? ... can't remember). They both protected each other from danger and could understand each other's thoughts and feelings.
It was a lovely story and it left me with a warm, lovely, awestruck feeling that has never gone away.
If anyone's got any wonderful tales of Native American wisdom and intuition please do share. I would absolutely love to know.

Hi
Well actually I believe in fairies. I went to see a lady for an angel reading and she actually saw my Angeles and actually saw my fairies. It is quite funny because if you had asked me before I would have said yeah right….. But the one thing is that the lady said few things that got my attention was that the fairies liked being around me and the like to play jokes on me like hiding things and moving things around, she said a few things that actually shocked me, quite true. So whenever I feel someone is playing with my hair or a I can’t find my things specially my keys I just relax more. I don’t see them but I can sense and hear them especially lately. But I haven’t seen any.

Hi Comis Scriptor...

Great topic! I LOVE me some fairies!! I've never seen any, but I feel sometimes their presence. Epsecially the little word druids... it's like when I'm spiraling in my writings, they are there, full force. Maybe one day I'll get to shake the hand of a wee-one. Who knows, maybe I already have since they can take on so many different disguises.

BTW, SnowWhite here on the Forum, from what I gather, knows much about the pixies.

Oh, and you know... I've always acquainted the day of FRIdAY with the FAIRY...

I posted recently about fairies and Snow White was very generous in posting her personal experiences with the fairies. You'll still find the post if you look.

I've started setting some treats out for them. And in the spring, I will set up a part of my garden for them, in a way, I think they would like, with a source of water, perhaps, some little chimes or a statue and leave them some more treats.

I was meditating on Halloween and as soon as I closed my eyes, I saw many wings fluttering. This to me, was the sign I have been looking for, that even though I can't see them, they are around. I read afterward that Halloween is a time when they are most readily available. (Cool!)

I have thought about them all my life and looked for them, when I was in the woods. And I'm now convinced that they exist, not just in 'fairy tales'.

Good Luck on your quest. Very cool story about your Mom.

I think the "Keebler" elves is a Star Sign. Methinks they would like cookies.

Omigosh! Just saw a Hershey's Kiss commercial as I typed "cookies," so I'm voting for those!
