Is the music of the spheres the music the actual spheres in our solar system make through movement in their orbit and in movement to their aspect to each other? if sound is created by vibrations, is it the vibrations of the planets what composers hear through their finely tuned inner ear?

Very interesting. I had never given it much thought. ------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." Rebecca Clark IP: Logged |

Imagine hearing your own music that u created in your chart. Linda said about that. Do u think thats why certain songs make us feel strange because they touch our own musical composition and why we feel we need to create music to bring us back to our own good vibrations? And that could be why alot of astrologers are musicians and musicians are astrologers because they do and say things in harmony to their chart music ( hehe ) and therefore understand harmonics instinctively. So many questions have I!!!!!!!!! Audience what u think?IP: Logged |

I know I am extremely sensitive to music. A certain song or esp. instrumental song can send me into the biggest depressions or the highest blissful states. And songs can trigger past life memories, too.

Me too LMB. Randall you are part of the smart audience!! No doubt about that! That is quite a nice thought the music of our charts! When I am outside on a breezy night and I see my shadow from the moonlight, I feel a tug on my heart and mind and I know it's from those planets and stars moving around up there, probably making beautiful music!

every being responds to a certain vibratory frequency of the cosmos, tis said. this should explain the idea that certain kinds of music appeal to us and some do not..the 'music of the spheres' is a mystical phrase that denotes sound that is not of the mundane world but of higher planes of existence. in certain eastern meditation techniques, one definitely hears sounds not produced by the immediate physical world. tis more of a hearing and a listening with the inner ear. Do any of you have music to your dreams? More like a sound track? Or just a simple note, -like last night as I fell asleep I heard an oboe or a clarinet. Is it just me being very sensitive to sound and music, or is this a common experience?? I am not a musician, but i like listening to music occasionally.IP: Logged |

I have heard music in my sleep but usually it's been something that I heard before that I usually listen to or a song I heard or will hear on the radio and the lyrics have meaning. I posted a dream to Ra before about waking up with a song lyrics in my head and he said it's probably got a meaning for you. When you hear a musical in your dreams it could be your soul speaking to you in a way that can be easily translated through your emotions into your waking life. For you to hear entire composotions infront of a symphony must be amazing! You are probably in total harmony with the universe and the master/mistress? to your own destiny. A marriage between conscious and subconscious... As they say.......... 'lets make sweet music together'Fajita anyone ever said to you before that u sing in your sleep? IP: Logged |

as grand as it sound to be in total harmony and the master of your own destiny (i'm a female but i like 'master') , i think it's more to do with being receptive, it could be that i was picking up somebody's thoughts when i'm asleep, though i can quickly shift from the conscious to the subconscious by will i read having a stressful aspect between teh Moon and Chiron in the natal chart relates to boundary problems, thus picking up a lot of vibrations or sounds one normally wouldn't, simply a psychic sponge can anyone relate? iceMists; I haven'n heard about the stressfull aspect betw. the Moon & Chiron, but that is an interesting theory. I have a sensitive Pisces Moon, don't know about Chiron. I pick up "vibrations" like a sponge, sometimes it is hard to know what is my own feelings and what is others. From I was a baby, my fingers started "playing" when I heard music, in my head or outside my head. They still do. I played the piano from age eight to seventeen. But was not very good at it. I have heard there is a connection between your fingertips and the logical/mathematical part of your brain, and that pianists do better in math than singers or violinists. Is there a connection between the mathematical part of the brain and ones musicality? Dreams and a head full of music certainly is wonderful, no matter why or what, isn't it?!IP: Logged |

Evergreen there is defintely a connection between maths and making musical. It is harmonics that create harmony and maths that create harmonics. Numbers and vibrations. With pianists I think they would be better at maths because they use more numbers (so-to-speak) more keys to tinkle on the piano than the violin or the vocal chords. Anyone who masters the piano, masters the mathematics )numbers)of it and creates a harmony of those numbers (music) by instinctive and practised synchronisation. The recognised tune is recognised harmonics. And the abilty to create a harmony comes by creating a connection and co operation between the left side of the brain and the right side.

Evergreenhaving a Pisces Moon must be like having your own mini ocean inside your body it must be overwhelming to feel the entire spectrum of human emotion combine it with music, doesn't that like give it a haunting effect, like your own personal auric imprint...just a thought i've a Pisces ascendant, it feels like i've holes in my body, either i'm leaking or soaking something
