As some people may know, I have been reading Love Signs, the last of Linda's books I have yet to read. I kind of didn't want to for fear of not having anything new of Linda's to read (plus it seemed lovey dovey) but then, I wanted to for all the wisdom that Linda's words have. Following is a perfect example as taken from page 224 regarding Taurus-Taurus: quote: Many true mystics and "sensitives" (including Taurus "psychic" Peter Hurkos) have suffered a blow on the head, near the Third Eye (pineal gland) which caused it to soften up again, as in childhood, allowing them to perceive the real world and the Eternal Now of Past, Present and Future. Tibetan monks have accomplished this through physical manipulation exercises, meditation - and even surgery (in rare cases). But Love (quite seriously and technically) accomplishes it more swiftly. The so-called "saints" (and Jesus himself) used only Love as the method for opening up the Third Eye or pineal gland. It's a whole lot safer and much more pleasant than falling off a ladder or bumping into a door - also considerably more joyful than monotonous, boring Eastern meditation rites. Besides, the latter can dangerously release the Kundalini Serpent Power prematurely which causes all manner of bodily pain and emotional torment. In other words, don't contemplate your navel, never mind what any flower draped Tantra Guru might tell you, until you've first learned to love one another purely and unselfishly, as the Nazarene counseled, learn how to forgive your enemies - and to do unto others what you would like to have them do unto you - or you may have reason to wish your Third Eye would harden again. A word to the wise is sufficient. A word to the foolish, as all Bulls know, is wasted.
Now was Linda an Aries or what? I just read this today and thought I'd share. I think it explains why so many people here have "unusual phenomena" etc that seems to come from nowhere. Maybe it comes from Love? Maybe your parents allowed you to be kids and hence kept your pineal gland soft, or maybe your higher self protected it against all potential enemies? In any case, I love this theory that enlightment above all else is a product of love, and hence, love also provides the tools to live with the light however scary it may seem. love the unexpected humour! Indeed Dean, it is. Love is all, so what you quoted does make sense. Being a I was a wild one, running, bumping & falling into all sorts so - yeeeeup, pineal gland is pretty soft! In fact, I cut my head open when I was about 6/7 years. I was trying to show how strong I was by lifting up my friend in primary school, lost balance & fell back onto a metal radiator - OUCH!!! I went to hospital for stitches! Explains alot - ahh yes & my higher self.. always been aware of my higher self.. With heaps o' love backatcha - welcome to LL! Sheaa ------------------ "Music is a moral law. That makes sense! That must be why people who find their twin souls experience spiritual awakenings. I have read stories where some develop psychic abilities.IP: Logged |

I guess experiencing love with others could do it, too. If you do a search on twin flames or twin souls you can find the reunited ones that are lightworkers. IP: Logged |

I disagree. A wise man does not hearken to fools. 'The eagle never lost so much time as when he submitted to learn from the crow.' - Native American Proverb
'There is no companionship with a fool.' - Buddhist Proverb

A wise man sees no fools. He see's only potential unused. Only fools see fools. That's just my view of course. What we see see so depends on how we look and from which direction we perceive. A fool would look from a fools perspective, but a wise man from a wise one. Gia IP: Logged |
