ive been wondering lately if all the drilling we've done, deep into the earth and sucking out trillions of barrels of lubricating oils could be helping precipitate some of the earthquake activity as of late......it certainly cant help anyway!!!

>>>>I think so! It doesn't get replaced overnight! And the water gets into the cracks and all...and water is not the same as oil when under pressure. Not a good thing I am thinking! And water dissolves while oil does not as much. Yeah...I think it is increasing quake activity. In my area they are pretty sure the 5.2 quake and some others we have had were gas well related.

I think dragons did live!!!! Perhaps some had cartillage bones and that is why we have not found absolute proof...OR...people ground them up for magic potions! I found the information on Merlin and the standing stones and South America very interesting also!

Yes, I remeber being there, as a priestess, and part of rituals, I'd rather forget, very dark stuff indeed.

THE FIERY DRAGON

In the "Book of Hermes," Pymander, the oldest and the most spiritual of the Logoi of the Western Continent, appears to Hermes in the shape of a Fiery Dragon of "Light, Fire, and Flame." Pymander, the "Thought Divine" personified, says: "The Light is me, I am the Nous (the mind or Manu), I am thy God, and I am far older than the human principle which escapes from the shadow (Darkness," or the concealed Deity). I am the germ of thought, the resplendent Word, the Son of God. All that thus sees and hears in thee is the Verbum of the Master, it is the Thought (Mahat) which is God, the Father.* The celestial Ocean, the Aether....is the Breath of the Father, the life-giving priciple, the Mother, the Holy Spirit,....for these are not separated, and their union is LIFE."...

From a fellow Dragon lover:

1st of all I just have to share that just recently I bought a chrystal called a Bismuth that looks like a mini Machu Picchu temple! It's really great for meditation, IMHO. Here's a site that has pics of Bismuth.

I was blessed to be born the year of the Dragon. I absolutly love them!

Some of my most favorite tarot cards are the Dragon Tarot by Peter Pracownik. I saw that Hedgewitch posted a pic of XVII The Star from that deck!

One more thing... I love the 1986 movie (cartoon) The Flight of Dragons. If anyone can get a hold of it I REALLY recommend seeing it! I saw it on Amazon (only made in VHS) just recently.

quote:
This fantasy tales takes place long, long ago, back when wizards, dragons, and unicorns walked the same earth as ordinary man did, a time when science and magic coexisted together. But at the point where the movie starts, things are no longer in harmony. Carolinus (voiced by Harry Morgan), one of the four most powerful wizards on earth, is the first to sense something is wrong. Not only does he find that the power of his magic is fading, he sees with his own eyes how the magic of things around him seems to be weakening. He calls an emergency meeting with his three wizard brothers, and together they agree that there is only one possible explanation for the declining power of magic: Given the choice between magic or the knowledge of science and logic, mankind is slowly shifting towards science and logic, because the choice is so.... logical. This isn't just a danger for everything that is magic - Carolinus knows that it isn't just that magic needs mankind in order to exist, but man needs magic to inspire him, to keep him from staying primitive and without love of life.

But he has a plan to save both magic and mankind from extinction. If all four wizards combine their remaining magical powers together, they will be able to create a magic realm shielded and separate from the world they currently live in, yet will still be able to send man the magical influence he needs to prosper. Two of Carolinus' brothers agree to the plan, but the evil brother Ommadon (voiced by James Earl Jones) absolutely refuses to be exiled into this "retirement home", and declares he will wage war on man with evil ideas and feelings, and let man destroy himself. Forbidden by the laws of antiquity to interfere with a fellow wizard, even one as evil as Ommadon, Carolinus calls on the fates to bring forth a hero who'll go on a quest to stop Ommadon. To Carolinus' surprise, the fates not only choose a man from the 20th century - Peter (voiced by John Ritter), an imaginative though unadventurous fellow - but one who is a man of science. Peter, though thrilled to be in a place that fills him with such wonder, is also puzzled by why he was chosen, and how he could possibly defeat such a powerful wizard. And the quest hasn't even begun to start!
