Hey MagusI was one of those kids that was kept in the dark and had religious doctorines rammed down my unwilling throat......and guess what happened.......yes friend I rebelled......you have a valid point. I am now probably one of the most broadminded people around.....probably seen as outrageous at times.....people have always come to me with their problems and opened up to me......and I must confess one of my pet hates is narrow minded pious people. I do however understand in a way what Dean way aiming at, but I agree there is worse stuff being bombarded at younger kids than you would get here. I feel very liberated sexually and otherwise, and at times.........I just cant help let that energy shine thro.......ooohhh all that devilment......you gotta love it aint ya?? That is why I mentioned that now days it is not safe....and as Sue said....
We are faithful to and respect our husbands.
Kids see alot of very graphic stuff on tv. Some stuff makes me even..surprised that it is out there so publicly.
So my disclaimer is again...
Sex is not dirty...but one can use and do it for the wrong reasons. It is not worth dying for or screwing up your life. But sex with the person you love and who loves you back...truely is where it is at.
And as I have told many younger people....holding out and being a virgin is not a crime. For all the "fun" I had...I wish I had waited until I was over 21 instead of so young. And not been so wild...
Not going to go into that here.
But,,,apologies for offending. I will delete my posts on this subject if the votes for doing so are more than the leave it all.
I think kids are savvy enough to see that we joke alot but also are not blatently saying go do it now!
It can wait...
It is not a contest..
Or to prove anything..
And now days it can be deadly to experiment.
Nothing is worth that.

All that you both said- I second and third.... Except that I see nothing to apologise for. YOu both have been perfect examples of exactly the sort of loyal,respectfully wise-yet still fun loving wives I could only wish Creation to grant me. Nothing you or I have said I find to be demanding of any apology- especialy if children have been viewing. And as someone who remembers what it was like to be 12,13,14,15,16-- I would be siting her and taking it personaly offensive that someone would suggest any of this was unfit for my viewing. YOUR CHILDREN KNOW MORE THEN THEY LET ON ALREADY. The whole "oh Momy and Dady just have to have a chat " when geting frisky thing isnt beleived- they just know better. And as the human species evolves -there awareness of such things will continue to arive for children at younger and younger ages. Sue-- just tell me where to go, and youl find me there ! Yeah...I would rather my kid(if I had a young one) saw the things we have said here than what is on tv and even in music.
I also would not let my minor child go to forums or chats unless I checked them out and had a good rapor with my child...knowing if they saw anything odd or racey...that we could discuss it then.
My son was not wild...that is because I was honest and open...and he could and can ask me anything.
Better to learn about in conversation...banter and serious talk than by being raped at 10 like I was...learning it by doing it later...rather than talking...If you do not talk to your kids....someone will...or someone will use them.
When they start asking...it might be a little too late. Never let kids think you think sex is dirty or bad. They will NOT communicate then at all. Then you leave them to the indiscriminate world outside.....and who knows what they might pick up....literally.

Oh Magus and Fayte, I SO agree with both your posts. My mother was one of the most repressed people around.......she didnt like sex (I know cos later in life she told me)....so she was gonna make sure my sis and I were sheltered from this evil thing!! God bless her she was doing what she thought was best.....but it wasnt!!Now of course I can be open with her, but it took me some time to talk freely with others.......I really cannot stand the holier than thou approach and I know you feel the same way guys. Sex is amazing, oohhh one of the greatest feelings around, so I am not gonna shelter my son from the truth.....OMG.....he will probably be streetwise early on with that Scorpio Sun and Libra Moon......charming or what. All I shall do is to encourage him to be responsible and caring and to respect the other person......I look around here in Ireland and daily see people whose shoulders are stooped becoz of repression from the Church.......as far as I am concerned its one of the biggest sins going!! Love to all

It has sex in the title.
That is a disclaimer.
It is not a thread about puppies and rainbows, if it was titled 'puppies', and we chose to talk about sex.. then that is misleading.... but it is not titled puppies.
So we are talking about sex. Notice the post count.
It's a popular subject.

Yes...a free talk, no kiddies allowed forum is a good idea....(to talk about ANYTHING...not just sex)
But how does one keep the kiddies out?
Bashers of free talk can be kicked...but how to keep minor aged lurkers out? Private club?
Any ideas?

OK, I apologise for making you guys feel you might've offended people. I feel I must clarify. I was really just talking about the language. I know people try to get around the censorship with other characters, or to write a letter followed by asterixes etc, but to write the whole word backwards? That is completely opposing the censorship - to spell the word completely. OK, so maybe some kids can't spell backwards, but I guess my point is that where do we draw the line at what's appropriate? I do not assume that any threads with the word Sex in the title will have vulgar language. I guess there will always be ways to communicate vulgar words even to the point of censoring as many combinations of the words and characters as you could find, then comes issues of censoring valid words. My point really is that these words somehow degrade humanity. I think most adults use them on a daily basis, but you wouldn't teach a class of children with them. You'd want them to grow up learning valid words before they can replace them all with a few.cont... IP: Logged |

Otherwise keep truckin' really. I know kids learn words in primary school, but I just hope they're not from adults. I mean, imagine a world where a four year old yells at you to "Get XXXXXX" granted it most likely happens in this world. I just wonder where the line is drawn.And yes Sue, I meant prude  Dean. ps. Sorry if this sounds like a moral rant, I don't want anyone to apologise, just to note that language is an important element of society. Sue- Your upbringing doenst sound to far from my own... I got into alot of trouble as a kid, and early teenager for the ways I rebeled... If I didnt consider atleast the idea of my first lover to so be sacred,,, I think I would have done alot more to personaly defile and mock the different churches views on sex, probably would have been overly publick about it as well. My own x-ated forum,,, now doesnt that sound like such sweet fun ! Ill think about making my own site perhaps,,, for that and other topics. WOuldnt be to hard to come up with, and my freind works at a domain registry as well. Either way,,, would be more fun to know kids wouldnt be allowed to view...Dont know about anyone else,,, but this has been me realy holding my tongue for such a topic ! I've found it quite entertaining. I've been following for days, but didn't want to intrude.X-rated forum or not there's plenty of places a curious child could find racey subject matter on the internet, or in the library even. Humans are generally curious by nature especially about things that are forbidden, so I believe in at least trying to acheive a balance there (like Fayte's idea of discussing things with her child so the topic becomes less of an enigma). Maybe I'm not being sensitive enough about it. MoM, let me know if you put up your own forum, if you don't mind sharing the women.  Virtual free love is innocent enough.
