Only a man's sperm decides the sex of child. Male or female is entirely dependend on whether the X or Y sperm has won the race amongst millions of sperms that is released.

Also a man must not drink or smoke if he has problems producing a baby. The viability of a sperm is related to his physical strength. A female must not drink or smoke too much after she knows that she is preganant.

Yes...It then "finds" a good spot...hopefully high in the womb/uterus to implant. The higher the better so the placenta does not cover the cervical canal and cause placenta previa...which can lead to losing the pregnancy. Or cause delivery problems.

Hi Faye, The point I was trying to make was that a mans job is really to impregnate more and more woman. After all it only took one sperm to produce us. I am not sure which religion is right, islam that allows (polygamy) or hinduism (monogamy) or something else.. I was just playing with the thought hehehehe....

And I was reading the notes, the female egg travels down to uterus and after fertilizastion travels some distane and anchors in a miraculous manner in the upper region of a womb. I think there it nourishes itself and grows. During first few days of preganancy a woman does not even realize, then slowly she feels a life inside her.

Maybe a woman is meant to have two men hey.......a husband and a much younger lover.....makes sense doesnt it....hahahahaha

If one has such dogmatic beliefs; yes..those stories say Adam was the first male and we all came from him. But the first chapter of Genesis does contradict the second chapter. The first has many people...male and female. The ssecond has the Eden Zoo with only two captive people told to stay as stupid as animals.

I personally do not buy into either story. A diversity of women impregnated by a diversity of men enhances the gene pool..one man impregnating many women concentrates the gene pool and can lead to birth defects and other adverse effects of inbreeding in time.

Though I did not phrase it as you did..I did say that already. That is called implantation. The place it attaches(the fertilized ovum) becomes the placenta. There is nothing mysterious or miraculous..or magical about it. Then the woman's body must produce enough progesterone to maintain placental viability. Those with a short luteal phase..do not produce a sufficient amout of progesterone and miscarry. I have experienced this 26+ times...as I have too short a luteal phase.
It can be treated by taking progesterone but most doctors do not like to give this because while it will usually lengthen the luteal phase, allowing for complete developement of a placenta(the placenta is required for the embryo/foetus to be nourished...also known as part of the afterbirth) it often leads to mansculinization of the female foetus.
A woman will also not feel life moving within her generally untill no earlier than
20 weeks. There are rare exceptions. I personally do not believe that this quickening occurs until the soul has entered the body of the foetus. Before twenty weeks the foetus has not developed all its parts fully. Its brain has not developed its wrinkles yet either. This would I believe cause madness to a soul incoming if it came before the new body had completed its basic human form. Before that time the foetus is on first examination..virtually indistinguishable from any other mammilian foetal species.
Also up to 12 weeks a great many women still have what can appear as a light period(and not realize they are pregnant)...and also during that time a woman can, and many do, miscarry before they know they are pregnant. This rate can be (depending upon which study one consults) as high as 33% loss of early pregnancies. Twin pregnancies often never result in twins(as with many multiple pregnancies)..in fact up until 11 1/2 weeks, one or more, in the case of not only twins but multiple foetus, can be reabsorbed back into the mother's body...or absorbed by the remaining foetus. Many doctors are reluctant to tell a woman that she is carrying twins or more, until after the 12th. week; as it is possible one twin will "disapppear! A foetus can also die and be carried for many weeks more, before the woman's body expels it. There are rare cases of what is called a "stone baby"...that is when the baby becomes petrified and the woman can carry it all her life.
Forgive me Sue...I know this thread is supposed to be about sexual healing....but falllacies of human sexuality is also a factor to sexual awareness and healing.

Part of sex for me is the healing aspects. In all of my primary love relationships, I feel that I have been able to channel negative energy away from my lover's soul and to ease his troubled mind through sex. Well, not really sex per se...but by kissing.

I call it my patentend Head-to-Toe Kiss and Heal...seriously. I gently kiss every inch of my lover and I can literally feel the positive energy begin flowing. I am not crazy, but the three relationships I have had where I used this technique, my lover was able to get passed a block and was transformed, I thought. I am very interested in this reiki kissing thing...sorry have not come up with better words I am intrigued as I do Theraputic touch or Nurses Touch Therapy...which is basically a massage that we Nurses have been taught how to do in Nursing school aimed at makeing the patients feel better improve their circulation and relax them plus all the positive benefits of someone actually tocuhing them in a warm caring non-threatening theraputic way. I have been told by many people I am gifted at it. AND do ya know who appreciates it the most???My Crab!!!!!!!!of course his is a little different as it always seems to lead to intimacy between us But I feel it opens some door there soemthing clicks it opens him up more and it helps him relax as his brain s constantly working overtime. WOuld like to know more about this.

Another time in a car in a field...the guy said he saw a ufo go over ahead as we were in the throws of love, but I was so far gone....haha...missed the chance to spot a ufo cos I was so hooked on the lovestuff....very Scorpio hey....love is all.....and he was young and H O T !!.....mmmm......
