Hmmmmm, being new at LL, Mr. Bungle, I wonder why it would even bother you. It's called spiraling, Mr. Bungle, and though it may appear to be "off topic" to you, the thoughts that Fayte and I shared in our conversation here came from our years of "physic development" and mediation on our life experiences. Which is where we all come to meet and know the Great Other... in our day to day life experiences. Tell me, what do you mediate on if not your life and the direction it is headed? How do you determine the direction you are heading in the future if not by mediating on your life experiences and what in yourself needs to be worked on? The changes in Fayte's life and mine, the things she and I overcame from childhood and past mistakes did not just happen or come from the blue. Those changes came from meditating on what happened to us, why it happened and how we can change our inner selves so it does not make us bitter or interfere in our happy life. From meditation and prayer came the strength to overcome our bad experiences and use even those experiences to become a better human being. Meditation is not something that you do just for show in an attempt to impress others. It comes from the soul and I think that soul was reflected in our conversation here. So I think that Fayte and I were very much on topic. Also, in regard to group meditation, I have nothing against that but even Jesus went off alone to mediatate. I tend to think that "group meditation" is more for show to impress others or it just becomes another little clique. Hard to do any serious meditation in a group I would think. Whatever others choose to do in that respect is okay by me, to each their own, but it just isn't for me. IP: Logged |

Mr.Bungle, I'm sorry I was curt to you. You are new and I should be welcoming you. There really is no excuse for being curt like that with a new member of LL. Especially since you are only 15 years old. All I can offer is the explanation that I have been sick for over a week now with a bug I cannot shake. I thought I was getting better as I felt better for one day on Tuesday but then the fever and body aches came back on Wed. and I have been sick again since then. Please forgive me as I am a little touchy right now with the fever and all. Welcome to LL and as Fayte said please tell us something about yourself. What caused you to decide to join LL? IP: Logged |

mr.bungle My mother is a stinging rabidly insane Scorpio. I totally understand! I will not sting you. If you want to talk, I will listen. I had a very rough time at your age. I think I can understand you. I will try. So, please talk. Why not hop over to the ~*^The Anything Goes Segue Spiral Rant On What's on Your Mind Today Thread.?^*~ http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum2/HTML/002036.html I started it as a safe place for folks to just be themselves. I will personally defend you if another person treats you unjustly. Come share please. One is never too young or old to learn from another. Or teach. Master and student are only a point of view, We are all both. So feel free to join us there. Sincerely, Fayte PS. Hope you feel better soon Mirandee. I have been ill also.
