Greetings...Without having read more than just the main page there, I'd say that I agree wholeheartedly that Premature awakening of the Kundalini Force, in one not prepared, is dangerous at best and deadly at worst. (see below) Without going into a longer explanation than you really need here... suffice it to say that the awakening of the Kundalini is not something to be rushed or even sought after as a goal unto itself. In the process of becoming Spirtually Self-actualized, the Kundalini will rise in its own time.. if that is the Path that one has Chosen. In this case, such a raising of the Kundalini is safe. Like many Spiritual Teachings... one can read about the raising of the Kundalini and decide, I have to have that NOW. And then will try to go about it in any way that may be considered instantly gratifying. Wrong Approach! This wrong approach leads to physical pain, Mental anguish, psychic turmoil and potential madness... at best. Potentially, the unleashing of Kundalini could be so strong as to lead to physical death. (and, after slight consideration, I'm not sure that would be the worst option .) Best advice: take it from the Boy Scouts... Be Prepared! Have a Teacher, a Guide or a Guru (in Physical Form please) teach you the safe, sane way of raising the Kundalini, but also be aware that it should be a PROCESS and not necessarily an EVENT. Blessings... A ------------------ "The ALL is MIND; the Universe is Mental." *** The Kybalion IP: Logged |

Teachings of the likes of Carl Jung and Freud are against those taught by the eastern mystics. The former people have not understood the whole of mind completely but just part of it. Compare this to eastern mystics who has learnt to empty the mind at will. They can empty because they know all the tricks of the mind. Hope that makes sense. Peace. IP: Logged |

I've read what Aselzion said like 5 billiion times. listen to Aselzion. I read one horrible account where a "psychic" was stuck in bed for 2 weeks and couldn't move, paralyzed by prematurely awakening her kundalini. How knows if any of this is true, but still, probably not best to mess around. IP: Logged |

I know of a few who have "gone where they were not ready to go"....... One is living in a crate in Sedona. Another was living in a Goodwill collection Dumpster. One must be prepared to balance everyday existence with the new awareness or one will fall into the mouth of madness. Space Cadets, KoolAid Crews, and Comet Riders. Or as one said, taking a trip every night in her golden merkaba to the Galactic University, and by day sitting on a park bench getting messages from the birds who are really alien master teachers. She used to be a Physics Professor. ------------------ ~Judgement Must Be Balanced With Compassion~ ~Do Not Seek Wealth From The Suffering, Or The Dire Needs Of Others~ ~Assumption Is The Bane Of Understanding~ }><}}}(*> <*){{{><{ ~~~ ~~ ~~~~ ~~~ ~~ ~~~~~ ~~~ ~~~~ ~~~ IP: Logged |

Wow thats scary Fayte. After many many years truth gets distorted. The yoga system has been abused by this generation especially the western people. I am hearing so many funny things these days like people taking their pets to yoga. Sad but true.

I've been holding my tongue....this enlightenment comes naturally.... one thing Linda said 20 years ago..is the teacher will appear, when the student is ready... well, 20 years later....we are all here...we are all the masters the teachers the saints the angels...
we are at the end of the cycle...I have not met a teacher... I met MOther and Father God...In Heaven... there is no reason to wait for a teacher... we are all the above here, ready for the end of this cycle... Master YourSelf I waited and waited for a teacher, because of what Linda wrote.... only to find out
KNow ThySElf and OverSoul.... GOD... there is no better teacher... if you knew what really happened to Linda... you would know the Teacher is False and, it cost her Sally Tears Tears Tears LOve to You Sally. ... IP: Logged |

I have said this before and saying again: Those who don't have a teacher have life as teacher. The latter will take years to learn. What Aselzion says is a great truth: Awakening the kundalini is a process not an event. If you believe a butterfly flapping its wings in Africa can create a hurricane in the USA shore. How much a process is effective when done in the very presence of a master.
The christians says allow Jesus to work on you. Open up. Be receptive. When the yoga is done in the presence of a master and you are receptive, he works like a surgeon on your chakras

I had typed this up once upon a time on another thread... It also goes nicely here! quote: The Kundalini force lies dormant at the base of the spinal cord. This is the 'strength of all strengths' referred to by Hermes Trismegistus in the Emerald Tablet. Once awakened it can move either upwards or downwards. If it moves up, the person in question enjoys the greatest spiritual development. If it moves down it produces the worst kind of physical and psychic disturbance. Those who awaken the Kundalini force without first becoming pure and fully in control of themselves, fall prey to unrestrained sexual passions and a demonic lust for power that puts them in oppostion to the entire world. This is why disciples are advised not to attempt to awaken Kundalini before having worked on purity and humility. For this force, this 'strength of all strengths' can destroy as well as create. Tantric science teaches that Kundalini sleeps seven slumbers and that it must therefore be awakened seven times, because it is buried under seven layers of increasingly subtle matter. It is relatively easy to awaken Kundalini from its first sleep. But the question is not so much of how to awaken it, but of how and in which direction to guide it. The direction Kundalini takes is determined not by a person's will, but by his qualities and virtues. When the Kundalini serpent awakens, it goes at once to where it will find nourishment. If this nourishment is in a person's inferior self, then regardless of any efforts he may make, that is where Kundalini will go, and for the individual this means hell, true hell. In order for the serpent to move upward it must be attracted by the higher side. The Kundalini force rises up through the Sushumna canal, in the spinal cord. On either side of the Sushumna canal the two currents Ida (polarized negatively and linked to the Moon) and Pingala (polarized positively and linked to the Sun) rise in an intertwining spiral. The traditions of ancient Greece and Judaism also present this process with the symbolic images of the Caduceus of Hermes and the Sephirotic Tree.
This is from the book You Are Gods by Omraam Mikhael Aivanhov ------------------ `Who are you?' said the Caterpillar. This was not an encouraging opening for a conversation. Alice replied, rather shyly, `I--I hardly know, sir, just at present-- at least I know who I WAS when I got up this morning, but I think I must have been changed several times since then.' ~Lewis Carroll IP: Logged |

Lotusheartone, You said grace comes naturally. No. Not to all people. To some, yes. To others they have to labor. If you live in some parts of India, and you are a farmer, the rain waters irrigate the fields. If you are a farmer in the state of Nevada (or any desert place), you have to labor and irrigate your field. Yoga could be considered a spiritual practice and is for people to have communion with God. i.e people without natural grace. Sorry for being a pain in your butt, but I had to correct you -Love

Please don't change the subject dear. And stop your foolish accusations. Throw all insults at me, and leave SS out of this. The last statement "to truly love a man..." was directed towards you and based on what I have known of you. Well you are one hell of a bright bulb and I should have known better. But we all are here and will love you always, Stephanie. But please stop exhibiting MPD. Its a disease of the mind. You will never realize God with a diseased mind. Just as with a diseased body its tough to go thru yoga. But theres a solution for that. Unfortunately I do not know what to recommend to a diseased mind. "Be Still" is all I can advice you. Be in the now please, nor past nor future. Be here in the now.
