no i know what you mean about icke. i always reserve a little credibility with him. what comes up for me is usually = if he's on the right track why hasn't he been shut up? which leads to...maybe he is part of the scam?but when he is positive he makes a lot of sense to me. i try not to get too drawn into the conspiracy facts because i find that counterproductive (as in what you focus on is drawn ever more to you!).. i'll check out this link when i have more time. well just because people have had a look-see doesn't mean they're in agreement...though it might show "seeker" tendencies.i value his input and all the hard research work he has done BUT...i think it is easy to get stuck in HIS construct and the conflicts this creates do play into the "system" he is talking about. i find it all too easy to believe that the same families have been running the show, conniving and plotting to unseat each other and grab the power, since time began...what goes on now so reminds me of the tudor english, for instance, and those very same families ARE around today. in fact though he talks about how lady di was a sacrificial virgin from "outside" the corral, her family was also in there, in fact go further back in english politics than the windsors... and our american "revolutionaries" WERE largely english political animals and many related to...the crown! supposedly in almost every presidential race the man most closely related to the european ruling families has been the winner. not too far-fetched for me... but the thing to remember is they fight amongst themselves as well, and this has always been the chink in their power. and that we each and everyone create reality by our INPUT. so i think he is right about how to stop the shenanigans... i don't set much store by saviours coming to lead us out of the wilderness. it seems the article is warning AGAINST such hopes. and pointing to self-responsibility. also warning against getting into fear mode...i can run with that! it means ignoring david icke and his brethren though..."Today’s remaining Mayan elders insist a time of difficulty, much like today’s economic and social upheavals, will be followed by widespread spiritual transformation" (from quinnie's thread). NO matter what happens, life will go on. Sure things might get shaken up, and our paradigm of life may change. But i feel this won't really be the end of the (physical) world, though it may be the end of the world as we perceive it. OUr thought patterns can and most likely will change, and this in itself may be like the end of the way the world currently is. We need not to be obsessed with doom and destruction. We can in the meanwhile work on ourselves at becoming the best we can be, learning to meditate, cleansing our bodies and minds, and learning to trust what the Creator has in store for us. Spiritual practices should be of great help during the times of tumult that might come around 2012 and later.This can be the beginning of a new Golden era.

yes, the age-old "breakdown" which precedes rebirth...and happens daily if you stop to think about it...personally i doubt if 12/21/2012 will be the actual date of anything. it adds up to 2! 9, or 1, would make sense numerologically...and on the 19th the sun should conjunct Galactic Centre exactly, while by the 21st it will have separated somewhat... There is something to the date.
That I am certain of.TPTB seem to be putting alot of work into scaring the public regarding. Fear is something they can control. Why the need for the fear around 2012 if its just another date for them? I think it comes down to the fact that it is imperitive that we pay attention to what is going on around us, and live our lives in such a way that we have no attachment to baser energies. In that way we can live in the moment undistracted and our energy can work at an optimun level around us. So there are many theories. But the fun part will be actually seeing it with our own eyes.

December 12, 2012 adds up to 11 which is a master number and associated with inspiration. It is said to be the most intuitive,psychic of all numbers. The negatives is being too high strung,hypersensitive,much nervous tension. great potential but great challenges with the master numbers.
12 = 1 + 2 = 3
21 = 2 + 1 = 3
