Last year, when I was 12, I become heavily interested and involved with demons and other preternatural subjects. I looked up how to "summon" them, and I tried to become a Satanist. When that happened, werid stuff starting to become in my household. One time, I was laying in bed and I felt something "attacking" me, I looked at my body and saw straches, I got disturbed and told them to go away, but some kind of "message" in my mind told me to look at the window. And so I did. What was my surprise was that I saw with my very eyes and ears, a screeching nose and the conjuring up of a claw mark. I could not believe it, I had to go further to the window to see it, and it was there. 3 days after to that, I showed my mother and she thought it was just a neighbor by my window doing that. Many other things happened that year, but some things are extremely odd and awkward for me to talk about. Has anything happened to you like that or was worse of my experiences? (I apologize for my bad grammar by the way) IP: Logged |

During that period of time, and prior to that, my mind made up "false" memories that I cannot recall remembering right now. What does all this mean?IP: Logged |

Karka, nothing like that has ever happened to me.One of the weirdest things I've experienced has to do with sleeping in my country house, with my infant son in a crib next to me (and my husband on the other side.) Several times last summer, while I was asleep, I was shocked awake by something that felt like a loud, roaring wind flying through me and headed toward my son. He ALWAYS woke up immediately after me, crying and startled. My reaction was, "Of course. I knew the 'wind' was blowing that way." His hands would be shaking just like someone who had been scared awake...by cold water thrown on him, say. I was already fully awake to go comfort him. No idea what it was, but it happened at least four or five times. I've thought we might just have some odd, psychic dream-sharing going on. IP: Logged |

I will say another thing. Most of the year I live in the house my father-in-law built about 60 years ago. There are noises in the attic. Okay there are squirrels, maybe bats, my husband has to fix the roof, since I won't. One day it sounded like there was someone walking up there. My husband was out and my children were downstairs, but there was clearly somebody in the attic walking around. The footsteps were heavy, and it sounded like heavy stuff scraping along the floor- someone rummaging through the old packages and whatnot. So I called the police. (This is the only time in my life that I have called 911 or the police, for any reason.) The police officers went up and checked and found nothing. They left, and it started again. Now this will sound totally "out there" but I feel like I have some ability to ward off spirits. I can be firm and I can say: "LEAVE." And since I am not unduly bothered by them, I just assume they are listening to me. Just a theory, and all of this is just a mystery, in fact.

Sounds pretty freaky, Karka. My friend claimed a ghost hit her in her sleep and woke her up.. several times actually lol. This was around the time we first started playing with Ouija boards. Another played with a 'ghost' when she was little. She said the 'ghost' disappeared into the radiator when they were playing and she ran after it. She ended up banging her head/face pretty good. But for me I've never had anything weird happen though. Never seen anything supernatural. ------------------ "The snake which cannot cast its skin has to die. I set up my little son's train table in one wing of the attic recently. He had set a Thomas flashlight on the table last time we were up there...if you hold the handle, a button gets pushed and the train whistles as the light goes on.We went up there this morning and as he walked up to the table, before touching anything, the train started whistling. He looked at me confused. Like he had no idea what to make of that. One test of a haunted places is, a flashlight will often turn on if you ask it to. But that's one test I wouldn't try. Shown here, first segment: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4Bkl5ZKBIXc Linda Goodman's house is the last segment of that show. This is under discussion at the haunted Places thread in the "Through the Looking Glass" forum. I mentioned there how dramatically lights flickered around me especially in my childhood living room, after my mother died there. IP: Logged |

Sigh.Oh, Karka. Not good. Really, really, really not good. Here's the dealio, kiddo. You've got to be VERY careful with what you bring to bear. If I recall correctly, you're quite young, and you really shouldn't be trying to run before you crawl. I used to be a certified investigator (with an organisation) when it came to these things, which is why my perspective largely comes from a scientific basis. (Yeah, yeah, yeah, I was the sceptic they always brought in to give that point of view.) Over time, and owing to my metaphysical upbringing, I've discovered my own abilities and capabilities, and it's opening up a whole new world to me. But more than anything, I could slap you with a tunafish. You NEVER, EVER, EVER want to attempt ANYTHING like that until YOU understand how YOU can be affected, AND those AROUND YOU. It's not fun-and-games, and let's-see-what-happens. You can get yourself - and others - into some serious trouble. 'Safety first' comes to mind. I've just NOW begun attempting to contact a known energy, but ONLY because it's known, and she was last able to communicate to me that something's preventing her from contacting me in the dreamstate, where it all started, now several years ago. But I did this because I went through YEARS of training, had a handful of very gifted mentors, and I know how to protect myself - and others. Think of it this way. Contacting the other-side is a bit like going to a busy train station, blind-folded, shouting out someone's name, and, when you hear them drawing nearer, you grab them. First off, it might NOT be them, so you have to make SURE it is before you go ANY further. Evil does exist. It's out there. There are dark forces whose sole intent is to cause trouble to everyone over here, because they're so lost and miserable, and no longer have the means to create or restore, so can only destroy and harm. It's ugly stuff. And you don't want to be ANYWHERE near it until you KNOW that you can tell the difference. Hi Karka...It does sound like (to me) that you have invited a "dark one" from the other side when you summoned in a satanic, evil, occult, demonic way...and not within the white light and positive vibrations around...which we hope brings a "good entity" The whole "sleep paralysis" traumatic experience is simply in my opinion your subconscious brain staying tuned in to what of Pandora's box you have opened...and invited into your space The whole "sleep paralysis" has happened to me since I was around 12 years old, and started to occur more frequently after one of our closest grade-school friends had passed away, my father did not let me attend the wake nor the funeral and so I guess I had to figure out my own means to say goodbye, but pretty much in my mind, it was easier for me to be weird and my imagination allowed Cailin to live in my bedroom closet. It helped me grieve and cope with his death in a sense... The sleep paralysis has always been a scary terrifying thing for me, and it always happens whenever I am reaching out to my higher self or to the other side... I know that someone or something has something very important to tell me however, I am too afraid to allow myself to astrally project to the other side...and I am for sure to scared to speak with them here on the earthly plane... Most times if I do wake up, (if I can wake up and stay awake)...I am shaky and out of sorts, quite like any time I am awakened out of my slumber and that silver-cord that allows my "light" body to astrally project at some point during my sleep snaps back into my physical body like a rubber band...when I have been startled awake... Get yourself some sage, and do some smudging ...tell the negative one to find the lights up above and this will allow it so that he/she can find the way to travel on back home... IP: Logged |

^ What are you talking about, with sleep paralysis? I don't see it mentioned on this thread before your post.I have occasionally "woken up" while I am dead asleep and it's terrifying because I cannot get my body to respond to me. Like I am wide awake inside my body but can't move and when I try to scream nothing happens. Edit: Researched it! Thanks for giving me the correct term, I never heard it before. quote: Over the centuries, symptoms of sleep paralysis have been described in many ways and often attributed to an "evil" presence: unseen night demons in ancient times, the old hag in Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet, and alien abductors. Almost every culture throughout history has had stories of shadowy evil creatures that terrify helpless humans at night. People have long sought explanations for this mysterious sleep-time paralysis and the accompanying feelings of terror.

Oi... Looks like you got yourself in a bit of a situation there Karka :/When you summoned this demon... did you have a specific name in mind? Or was it a general summon? At any rate, that does not sound like a friendly visitor there. In my experience, Sandalwood incense has acted as a ward against demons. Well, lesser demons anyways. Paired with Dragon Blood incense (apparently Dragon Blood is a flower/plant?), tends to repel larger ones. It's not foolproof though, something very determined once or twice I'm certain still made the attempt to influence me even with that combination actively in place. Before attempting my technique below, I strongly recommend you read through iQ's link and study that closely, especially since we're dealing with a non-benevolent being from the sounds of it. Before lighting the incense, I visualize white light flooding the physical body of the stick or cone of incense to be used, and focusing on the intent of what I'm using it for (for the Sandalwood, repel evil, and for Dragon's Blood, protection and amplification of the sandalwood or whatever other incense I may be using depending on purpose). Once my visualization of the light changes to the incense stick/cone in my mind's eye shaking (not able to take in any more energy), I set it down and once ready to light, I light it. I tend to pair it with a tea light candle as well, white works best (general purpose). I also focus intent and energy in the candle as well, in this case, protection. (For the candle, the word "holy" will come to mind when I do this). Now, as you summoned this thing, and my technique is to repel demons/evil, it's very possible it will interfere with setting this up. That's why I said about studying iQ's link before and taking to heart the techniques there. IP: Logged |

I live in a house haunted by native american spirits, as well as at least one demonic entity, and I can tell you right now that you haven't gone through the worst of it. YET. I used to try to manipulate the spirits around me all the time, and it almost cost me my life. The demonic entity(s) actually possessed me and tried to force me to cut my own throat. (More than once, too.) I finally hired a shamanistic exorcist to calm down the spirits in my house and to exorcise the demon from me. Manipulating spirits without rigorous spiritual and occupational training is the stupidest thing that one can do. My advice is this: DON'T TRY TO MANIPULATE SPIRITS OR DEMONS ANYMORE. They just don't like it.------------------ -Earthquake IP: Logged |

Every house I move into I seem to get objects moving of their own accord, so yes, I'd say I've had that type of paranormal experience. As for demons, my brother, a friend of ours, and I went investigating in the woods near our place in maine, and we caught what sounded demonic saying "Kill Sarah". My name. It freaked my brother right out. It didn't bother me, I wanted to go back. I also heard what sounded like a demonic growl in the room in which I sit and that one DID creep me out.
