Wow! all the dogs we've had only burped once in a great while. Jasmine has burped like twice since I adopted her at 7 weeks old, and it is so cute. They don't realize they have burped until it's already come out, unlike us who try to conceal it or prevent it from happening when we have to! LOL I wonder if your dogs eat too fast, or it's something in their food? IP: Logged |

Jasmine is now over 2 years old and still get the hiccups. She gets them when she is waking up from sleeping, either in the a.m. or from a nap. She gets them really fast, many in a row........"hiccup! hiccup! hiccup! hiccup!" you get the idea any ideas?

I dont know when they stop. But my girl is 7mo and doesnt have them as often as she used too. The time she does get them is when she gets excited or drinks water to fast - getting all the air in the water. I usually wait till shes not paying attention to me and spook her a lil - Poof they are gone. I dont scare her to the point where shes quivering - but just a lil spook. In fact, her and i play hide-and-go-seek in the house, so shes used to being spooked, and usually pounces on me with excitement and tones of kisses. IP: Logged |

YES!!! Hide and Seek!! I actually played it with my mail cat prior to having the pup. I would run down the hallway into the bedroom and sit right behind the door. Wait till he came in and startle him. He'd pounce backwards and get all spunked up (esp after cat nip ) It was alot of fun. So with her, it started when i was playing with my cat and she got interested. Now i actually hide while she tries to find me. Shes getting pretty good at using her nose to try and find me. Although shes pretty framiliar with mom's spots now. I guess in a way its a good tracking exercise for her at least! and she just to play it ... She get so worked up playing though that this is another game thats put on hold till shes healed!! IP: Logged |

Sounds like great fun!!! I have "hid" from my dog, Jasmine a couple times and then I feel bad, like I was tricking her. And she gets embaressed when she finds me, like "hey, that's not fair." IP: Logged |
