Please list your favorite animal books or those you would recommend. "Conversations with Animals - Cherished Messages & Memories as Told by an Animal Communicator" by Lydia Hiby This is my favorite book about animals. I read it twice last year. If you are an animal lover you *must* read this book! Lydia Hiby is an animal communicator and it is a wonderful book! "When Elephants Weep" by Jeffrey Moussaieff Masson and Susan McCarthy This is about the emotional lives of animals. It is a wonderful book for all animal lovers "Dogs that Know When their Owners are Coming Home" by Rupert Sheldrake This book is about the empathy, telepathy, premonitions of animals. The author did many tests of humans and animals to see if they knew when their owners are coming home. It is sure a great book to read. "Blessing the Bridge - what Animals Teach us About Death, Dying and Beyond" by Rita M. Reynolds Someone gave me this book last year after I lost my beloved dog, "Hope" to cancer. Although it is sad to read, it may provide therapy and support for those who's pets have crossed over. "The Soul of your Pet, Evidence for the Survival of Animals After Death" by Scott S. Smith This book is chock full of stories of people who have witnessed (seen) either their pets ghosts or spirits, or others' pets spirits whom have crossed over. A very interesting and neat book. "Out on A Leash - Exploring the Nature of Reality and Love" by Shirley MacLaine Not only did Shirely write this book, but her Rat Terrier "Terry" wrote this book too. Each wrote alternating chapters in the first person. It is fun to read, interesting, from Shirley and her best friend's perspective. "The MetaPhysical Cat" by Gerald & Loretta Hausman A very cute, funny book of short stories about cats and their humans. Fun to read and a great gift book for cat lovers! "The Nature of Animal Healing" by Martin Goldstein, D.V.M. [i]"The Definitive Holistic Medicine Guide to Caring for your Dog and Cat". I was recommended this book by a friend after several of our pets had fallen ill. It is very educational. Because of this book I now will have blood titers before I get any vaccines for my animals, not use Advantage or any other "toxic" substances on my pets, feed only human grade top-quality food, etc. IP: Logged |

It still comes on. They just rotate it to different times. This week, it's on at 8 am EST. I'm watching it now. One dog said he wants some french fries, and the owner said, "Oh my God! That's his favorite food!" ------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." Animal Planet. Maybe they use it as filler, or maybe they are reruns. I don't know. But you can watch it tomorrow at 8 am. ------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." Her book is good yes ! I never knew she was on Tv ! I'll have to look out for it. I have read it, first fo all she tells of how she began to realise her gift, her very heartbreaking story of how she suppressed it for many years. The she launches into a variety of stories of animals she has helped. It's nice to read a miracle such as hers, I bet it takes the time out of behavioural training ! Is that enough info ? I am currently reading Ask the Animals by Kim Ogden Avrutik, Dr. P.H. So far it is very good, stories from an animal communicator. She tells us a story about an animal that she communicated with and solved his/her problem, then the last paragraph of each chapter is the lesson that we should learn from each story. I just want to read books like this all day long! IP: Logged |
