I can call my Mau Kitty to me in my mind. Works almost everytime. Does that count?I've tried it lots of times with our older kitty, Little, but she doesn't respond. IP: Logged |

One of my dogs, the miniature schnauzer starts fussing and barking about 15 minutes before my husb comes from work. he likes to bark so i always thought it was him seeing people outside walking or something. It got to the point where I can time my husbs return home to a tee.IP: Logged |

I can't give a specific example, but most animals like me immediately, and trust me. Given a little time, it's a rare animal that I can't charm. I guess they know I love and respect them, and am interested in getting to know them a bit. IP: Logged |

LibraSparkle,Yes, of course that counts! I've tried that but it hasn't worked for me. I've also tried asking "do you want to go for a walk?" in my mind and I don't get any response. But if I start putting on my shoes, look out! 13 ~ there's a book called "Dogs That Know When Their Owners Are Coming Home" by Sheldrake, it's a very interesting book, you should get it! Trillian, me too~ I think pets know animal people from non-animal people. They are highly sensitive and intuitive. I met a boy Cocker Spaniel in our neighborhood a few months ago. I bent down to greet him. He put his head on my arm, and stared into my eyes with so much love I fell instantly in love and I will never forget him. IP: Logged |

I usually have an instant rapport with animals too. My friend's dog actually has a crush on me. It's the funniest thing. It doesn't matter how many years it's been since he's seen me. When I get to the door, she tells him: "Foo, it's Dani. Dani's here to see you." He starts going nuts. It's funny. Barkin', whinin', goin' in circles. Once I get in he doesn't leave my side. He even sits outside the bathroom door and waits for me to come out. He'd prolly come in if I let him . He also cleans (or kisses... not sure which) my feet constantly. He tries to 'get it on' with my leg or foot sometimes... but I quickly put a stop to THAT.So, I guess I have a dog boyfriend. Foo Man Chu. He's pretty old now. Probably 16ish. I don't think he's going to be with us for much longer IP: Logged |

I used to call my cat telepathically too. I used to look at her, and say in my mind "cleo, come here bubbee" and she'd leap up on my lap. But one time, I remember this weird night. I was on the floor watching tv quietly, and cleo was starring at me from across the room. I looked into her eyes, and starred at her as long as she was starring in my eyes. We both didnt blink or move. I was entranced and couldnt move. We were doing this for about 15 minutes. It was very strange, she never did it again. IP: Logged |

Ok, my family teases me continuously about this - but none will deny, I clearly communicate with my pet's via thought patterns. I hear my animals in my mind. I've even been awakened by them while dead asleep, LOL! Somehow I just hear their signal. This was I suppose a hereditary thing as my mother too was "in tune" with our family pets. She however was much more effected by it than I. Wildlife around her was an insane experience. She sometimes would be brought to tears by the things she heard (rather felt). My first memory of hearing an animal was while I had just begun kindergarten at the age of 4 yrs old. I regularly heard my cat's thoughts and, I believe she mine. We would spend hours together playing in the garden or rocking gently in the hammock. Hardly a moment went by when I didn't ask for her opinion on this or that situation. To adults it was even obvious that something clearly was out of norm, LOL. One evening my cat "Snowflake" woke me from a deep sleep to tell me goodbye. She clearly wished for me to understand that while she would no longer be around me to see that she'd still be "with me". I had this heart wrenching pain deep within me and woke screaming in tears. "She's dead", "She's dead", "My kitty is dead!". My parents ran to my room to comfort my weary soul... They assured me that it was just a terrible, terrible dream. That Snowflake really was ok, etc. After much calming, I did go back to sleep. In the morning I woke and got ready for school all excited to see my friends and play with paints. With my little lunchbox in hand I exited my house happy as could be. Snowflake all curled up on our front porch fast asleep... I reached down to pet and kiss her goodbye. Only to discover; She was stiff as a board! I dropped my school things, lunch pail, and jaw... and screamed for what seemed like hours. In my mind that "dream" rushing through over and over in slow motion again. Played again and again and again... Needless to say, my mother kept me home from school that day. It took many days to come to terms with these terrible events within my mind. I was feeling guilt that I had not got up in the middle of the night to help her somehow. I was feeling ashamed that I hadn't said a proper goodbye. I was feeling angry that someone did this to her (turns out that she died having been poisoned by something) likely drinking someones anti-freeze or something or other. The list goes on. But "WE" she and I had a special connection for sure... we had spoke many times before at an intimate level. I was lost without her. She was my very best friend. ------------------ Sendin' love your way, "your friend in spirit"

there was a time in my life where i would get really down and depressed - not anymore, of course. you know how sometimes - your mind wanders and you can't recall where it went or how long you were whereever? whenever i use to zone like that - my dog Ali would bark at me and nudge my hand and put his head on my lap so i could pet him. whenever i would pet him - i would always be uplifted. all the what, where, why, how, and when was taken away. such a beautiful dog.I love animals - they are the best! I will never forget my precious poodle baby.He was my life. we were obsessed with each other and loved each other like crazy. He lived to be 16 years old. I'll never forget the day I came back from the vet after they ended his suffering. I walked through the streets crying black tears because of my mascara. I was in despair and in shock. Even after he died he visited me. We had a psychic bond. There's no way he wouldn't have visited me. I was his mommy. It was the most spiritual experience I had ever had. he jumped on my bed and cuddled next to me. I'll see my poodle baby again.
I stayed with him when they gave him the injection and after.
I felt his heart stop beating immediately. I held him in my arms the whole time. I have his ashes and I saved locks of his poodle curls. My baby wasn't gonna die alone.
