Hi Everyone!!!!!!

I am just bursting, I can't wait to tell you my news!!!! Well some of you may have read my horrible day at work post yesterday and today. Well today was so extremely busy and crazy at work, it was like a h*ll ride at an amusement park. (if that's a good description).

Well I had finally sent off my application to my local Humane Society, yesterday. When I got home from work tonight, there is a message on my machine!!!!!

They have a part-time position as a "Licensing Program Asst."!!!!!!!! The lady gave her name and said to call her Tuesday a.m.!!!!!!

I am so excited, I really hope I get the job, and that it works out for me!!!!!

Please pray that it works out for me!!!!!

Here is the update about this job;

1. It is only 20 hours per week (I won't make enough $$)

2. They don't provide medical/dental benefits at only 20 hours ( which means I would have to pay out of pocket and make even less $$)

3. It requires a lot of data entry ( I have tendinitis in my forearms so can't type that much)

I spoke to the lady yesterday and she said the 20 hours won't increase. We had set up an interview for today, but I cancelled it because of the reasons above. I asked her to please give my app. to another department, if they have a 30 hour position I would really be interested.

It's too bad I want to work with animals or helping the environment in some way, but the jobs don't pay much. I'll keep looking and praying.

May be you could ask them to keep your file and name for future possibilities? And . . . may be if they hear of something at another place they can let you know?
