Did anyone read this story. A 30yr old female gorilla by the name of Bab's was laid to rest Tuesday. Zoo officials allowed the other primates to mourn the lose by holding a "gorilla wake". Dear Angel Of Hope,Welcome to Heathcliffe's Corner!!! Thank you for this wonderful story!!! Did you know there are other species/groups/packs of animals in the wild who pay respects to their deceased, such as elephants???

Nephthys, No i didnt know that but it makes alot of sense . They do show so much emotion and compassion towards one another. It was very touching yet so hard to read! Thanks for the nice warm fuzzy welcome! ang- IP: Logged |
