PETS AND PEOPLEWhat is a Cat? 1. Cats do what they want.
2. They rarely listen to you.
3. They're totally unpredictable.
4. When you want to play, they want to be alone.
5. When you want to be alone, they want to play.
6. They expect you to cater to their every whim.
7. They're moody.
8. They leave hair everywhere. CONCLUSION: They're tiny women in little fur coats. What is a Dog? 1. Dogs spend all day sprawled on the most comfortable
piece of furniture in the house.
2. They can hear a package of food opening half a block away,
but don't hear you when you're in the same room.
3. They can look dumb and lovable all at the same time.
4. They growl when they are not happy.
5. When you want to play, they want to play.
6. When you want to be alone, they want to play.
7. They leave their toys everywhere.
8. They do disgusting things with their mouths and then try to
give you a kiss.

I am taking my dog to the vet on saturday. He is 15. I have had him since he was 4. I don't know why I have the feeling he won't return.
I have no soul anymore.
I have no life to live for. If he dies I'm gonna kill myself.

Mystic, I know that it's a difficult thing to face, but please don't say that you'll take your life. 
Other than the fact that I wouldn't want that to happen (and I highly doubt that anyone here would), there are other animals out there needing a good home. Maybe you wouldn't want to get another one immediately, but soon?
If I could find it, I would offer to send you a book I have on pets and the afterlife ~ experiences offering proof that they still exist in some way after passing on, as I believe we all do.
I didn't need the book to comfirm that, but it was a comfort.

Oh, I didn't meant to give the impression that I thought this ~ sorry if I did Mystic Gem. 
I'm surrounded by my own pets who all have their own personalities ~ they all bring their own brands of love, charm and mischief and I love them dearly. I know that in the past I've said that I would never want another (insert type of pet here ~ dog, cat, bird) when a certain one was gone, but that has always changed ~ that's why I mentioned it. I'm not always good at heart-to-hearts, but I had to say something. Anyway, I agree with artlovesdawn.  Angela IP: Logged |

Mystic Gem-
I know how hard it can be when our loved ones (including pets) say goodbye, but keep your spirit up, chica! to me, they are souls too, and I believe that once they have achieved their purpose, it is time for them to move on, just like it is for us. They will be missed tremendously, but ultimately, they have to continue their own journey as do we all. Know that one day, whether in this lifetime or the next, you will meet these cherished souls again. IP: Logged | |
