I decided that there was something that I'd like to do to help out SOS Animal Shelter (since they helped us to find the most excellent Zoe-dog).
I really couldn't volunteer on a consistent basis - who knows when Jase's going to be here - but I do have some minor computer savvy, so I offered to update their listings on Petfinder.com and to help them set-up and maintain (while I'm here) a Pet-of-the-Week Blog that they could link to in the paper/on their flyers/etc.

Here's the little mock-up of the latter that I worked-up this afternoon to show to the manager.
(I used Harry as the "test subject".)
It's nothing too fancy or complicated, but it gets the message across and'll be relatively simple for them to maintain once we've moved
