This is unacceptable: Southern Europe's blistering heat -- up to 114 degrees in some areas -- has a brown bruin stewin' at the Athens Zoo. Greece is sweating through its hottest June on record.

Eek ~ we don't have any humidity here in Cali ~ but we do have very, very dry summer seasons. We have had numerous fires in our area lately, including a horrible, devastating one in Lake Tahoe area (Angora Lakes, to be exact, where we used to go when I was growing up).
