My cat has never in his life had a hairball or doesn't even cough anything up. There should be no problem right? IP: Logged |

My cats usually don't have them either. And they've all seemed fine. I am sure more people will respond regarding their cats too. IP: Logged |

I have cats. And even though some of them hock as i call it most of them don't. I had one cat years ago who had a bad problem with hairballs. But she was a maine coon cat and fluffy. I remember having to vaseline her lips every so often to help her with it.IP: Logged |

I brush my kitty everyday so maybe that helps him. He doesn't really shed either.IP: Logged |

It seems that the longer a cats hair is the more likely it is to produce hairballs. If your cat does get these; a simple dose of vaseline smeared on it's paw should do the trick to relieve this discomfort and resolve the issue. The cat will lick this greasy stuff off while trying to clean itself thus lubricating itself to dislodge any remaining hairs caught in it's throat, etc. Now here is an "Enlightened Cat", LOL! ------------------ Sendin' love your way, "your friend in spirit" IP: Logged |
