Answer: Missing nutrients it it's system... Solution: Change brands of dog food preferably to something most natural like "Beneful" or the like. IP: Logged |

Thank you yourfriendinspiritwhat kind of nutrients would be missing? Minerals maybe? She is a picky eater and eats caesar's dog food only and boiled chicken with rice mostly. She has lost a lot of weight over the past year or so. She is a little Maltese Poodle and lives in Europe, not sure they have Beneful there. She is now 13 years old Research I have done so far indicates maybe minerals are missing. Any other help would be much appreciated. natty33 I wonder if its the asbestos or clay your dog is tasting on the walls? IP: Logged |

Just Click Here and choose other countries it shows many Europe distributors. (There are also some great articles here) I'd say yes minerals...Even people have been known to do this... Good luck to you! ------------------ Sendin' love your way, "your friend in spirit" IP: Logged |

It may also aid in digestion (although I'd go for the mineral explanation more). It could be a throwback to earlier days before we domesticated wolves and bred dogs. Some dogs still occaionally eat pebbles to aid digestion.------------------ "There is no use trying," said Alice; "one can't believe impossible things."
