*Sorry this was meant to go in Heathcliffe's Corner* The Mountain Hare is featured in the winter edition of the Mammal Society's magazine. It's a preservation society for native mammals (in Britain), working to make sure animals such as this these don't decline in numbers. http://www.abdn.ac.uk/mammal/mission.shtml Thought animal lovers might like this picture.

They live mainly in the Scottish Highlands which probably explains it. Their summer coat is brown with a greyish-blue underlayer. I'm drawn to hares somehow, I don't know why. IP: Logged |
