Randall~Now I am wondering if this is a significant spiritual message thing that happens to people for a *specific purpose* ... There are so many that have experienced the same story! Why a *baby*? Why a baby *bird*? It is known even adult birds small birds can't survive much emotional trauma. Is their being *so delicate* trying to tell us something? Why was a baby bird that was going to die be put in our paths, seemingly, so often? It almost seems to have some kind of *big message* to it... something like, had we not encroached our ever expanding demolition of Nature, our Mother Earth, the baby bird would have fallen in it's Natural habitat, and delivered into Nature's hands rather than our hearts only to Love them and to watch them die ? Yes, we are a part of Nature, but we are the only species in Nature's community that would presume to destroy Her only because we wish to *control Her* ... ...sighhh Maybe this sounds *romantic* ... but, what if those who rescue injured baby birds are *chosen* for *something* ? Birds represent to me things like... . * + . + . wings . * + . * . flight . * + . * . floating . + * . + . freedom . * + . * . What do you think? ~Princess ------------------ "You may have heard we are the ones we are waiting for!" ~Leigh Tremaine IP: Logged |

That was a remarkable insight Princess. We are being warned by Mother Nature in so many ways yet we refuse to listen to it and continue with the destruction. Its high time we stopped this before it destroys us all. Sahana IP: Logged |

Princess, always you are full of insight! Guess what? On the eve of my last birthday, I went out to the patio and saw a baby bird, just sitting there, ten stories up. He didn't seem able to move much, so I scooped him up gently into the palm of my hand and asked him, "Hi, you! What can I do to help you?" We had the nicest chat, he just looked at me so sweetly, like a favorite friend. The phone rang inside, so I decided to set him back down and answer it. The moment I turned back to look at him, he flew away. Now, I can't say whether he was hurt, or just really friendly, but I just figure he was a messenger. The message was, U R SPECIAL!
