damn crocs! tick, tock My mother lived in the country and she fought the Mouse King and his evil minions for years. They developed a strange taste for her Lab's dog food. It's no fun. Are you out in the beautiful English countryside or safely ensconced in swinging London? Are the neighbors having problems too? Any construction sites nearby? I know someone who had a brief case of the mousys after a neighbor cleared out a small patch of woods in his backyard. Eventually they scattered to parts unknown. The mice that is, not the friend. Possibly yours will be a brief invasion? IP: Logged |

Juniperb, quote: Are you networking for animal rights? Let your voice be heard in a larger media. It does help sooth the heart to know one is doing something and working hard towards this mission.
I've lost faith that such things will make any difference. Most people don't want to know. They don't want to look at images, etc that disturbs their peace of mind. I believe that once the ones in control of the wealth of the Pharmeceutical industries, etc- once their towers of lies fall down, this will have more of a positive impact on ending such profound suffering, and all the profanity against our innocent animal kin that is committed in such places..... (the reason I asked about the pets). I suspect it will be a long term problem. I am in London, but methinks there may have been some interbreeding with wild and pets because the mice are unnaturally tame.------------------ The stone which the builders rejected, The same was made the head of the corner; Matthew 21:42 IP: Logged |

if they're really so tame, perhaps you can communicate with them? ask them their favorite flavor of oatmeal packets...(my favorite is maple syrup/walnut). buy them their own packets, and ask them to refrain from dining on your supplies. ask them also to be sanitary when traversing your cupboards. they might even prefer the countryside, so if they can gain your trust, perhaps they might allow you to transport them to a nice idyllic location.these may help ~ http://www.alaskawellness.com/may-june04/communicate.htm http://www.animalvoices.net/

Throughout her life, Betty Shine has been able to communicate with all life forms, and consequently has an amazing collection of stories to tell. Over the 25 years of her mediumship she has communicated with and healed dogs, cats and horses, and had amazing results with everything from insects to plants. Written in a chatty style and concentrating on animals rather than people, Betty Shine tells how she has found lost pets, healed racehorses, saved game birds from slaughter, and even been able to protect people halfway round the world from attacks from wild dogs. She has also had success with plants, and has cleared ant infestations with the power of her mind. IP: Logged |

I must say, I'm haven't reached this level of ability yet- I suppose one would need to practice (which I haven't). But I certainly believe there are people who have learned such skills. IP: Logged |

Zanya, I was just thinking, the reason they are so tame is that sad losers in bedsits with no friends, buy them food and talk to them. My other hypothesis is they are cross bred with animals that well-meaning but stupid animal activists have released from laboratories. I've seen a black and white hybrid that gives weight to this theory.------------------ The stone which the builders rejected, The same was made the head of the corner; Matthew 21:42 IP: Logged |

I feel the same way about people who feed pigeons in the city. They brought a falcon into Trafalgar Square to deal with the flying rats there. I met him, he was cool------------------ The stone which the builders rejected, The same was made the head of the corner; Matthew 21:42 IP: Logged |
