As a mamma of two of these dogs I have to say, yes they are beautiful but if considering owning such a breed please remember these dogs need to be well maintained, groomed regularly, fed properly and need their daily walks and runs!!! (they will keep you fit  )From my own experience they are easy to train and very friendly (makes a great family dog). They also go through the 'naughty' phase where they chew up everything they see so make sure they have lots of toys. IP: Logged |

They have a tendency to howl.Yes, they sing to the moon lol.One night I heard heard them howling, I went out to check on them and saw them sitting looking up at the sky. There was a full moon lol and they wouldn't stop. I let them in the house as one can't hide the moon! and I didn't want all the neighbours waking up! IP: Logged |

This is funny because I just saw a ton of posts on FB by someone who is thinking of getting a Husky. I will share this link. They are sensitive to weather aren't they? Like in the summer they can get miserable? IP: Logged |

Yes they are and they drink LOTS of water.They need sufficient shade in summer as they will overheat and it can be fatal.IP: Logged |
