i discovered a neighborhood cat that is paralyzed...my dog was terrorizing it, and i had wondered why it wasnt trying to run away...when it finally decided to, it dragged its hind legs behind it, unable to move them....should i call the pound???------------------ I once saw a sign that said "sin is death" but if "all deaths are suicide (linda goodman)" and suicide is sin, then shouldnt "death is sin" be more appropriate? when organic is used to describe food then you know we have come to a dark age in history IP: Logged |

dont call the pound. can you check around and see if anyone reported a missing cat.If the cat is in bad shape can you afford to take it to the vet and have it euthanized, its more humane than the way the pound would do it.. please check first someone might be looking for the kitty, call local vets and shelters to find out IP: Logged |

What happened to the cat?Maybe it got hit by a car? The same thing recently happened to my friends grandmothers cat and they took it to the hospital. He got steroid shots. Took him a week to finally walk. Alot of inflammation.

i was actually about to post about that right now we had learned that the cat had an old gaping, open wound filled with maggots underneath her, which might be the cause for her paralysis we had called the police and animal control came after a neighborhood dog had terrorized the poor thing the animal control guy said he will take the cat to the animal shelter and if they can do anything for her they will, but i'm pretty sure she would have died soon anyways...

as much as it pains me to see her taken to the animal shelter where she'll most likely be put down, i think it is for the best and she'll be put out of her miserydeath was inevitable for her ------------------ I once saw a sign that said "sin is death" but if "all deaths are suicide (linda goodman)" and suicide is sin, then shouldnt "death is sin" be more appropriate? when organic is used to describe food then you know we have come to a dark age in history IP: Logged |
