Hi all,A friend of mine has a sweet dog who recently lost one of his legs due to illness. I would like to get him a little cheer-up/recovery goodie basket (though nothing too crazy) and was wondering: are there some good products/toys out there especially for "tri-paws"? I tried finding some through Google, but didn't come up with much yet. I'm planning on getting him some treats for sure--she just told me that he's not picky, so I'll try to find something good. Also, does anyone know if there are some good charities out there? I ask because maybe one gift would be to make a donation in honor of this pet and his family, and could include a card mentioning that as part of the goodie basket. I had wanted to put in some treats, a card, and either a toy or donation (or both, if reasonable--I don't want to get carried away or anything; I just feel so bad for the poor little guy and would like to comfort him in some small way). If I can't find a tripaws-specific charity, I think I'll go with the ASPCA and make it in their honor. Any ideas? Thanks! IP: Logged |

When people take the time to give you some helpful advice or suggestions you could at least give a simple "Thank You."Rude. IP: Logged |

Aww T, I don't think she's trying to be rude! RP probably doesn't visit here too often. And I do that a lot too, I get busy, or I forget to reply sometimes, thinking I already did.. when I finally do reply, people are already uninterested.. and I end up talking to myself lol. ------------------ "Wisdom comes from experience.
