Scheduled to be euthanized because his owner just didn't care.

This photo of a five-pound Chihuahua was taken on Sunday afternoon as this tiny little pooch just stared out of his kennel waiting for his owner to come and free him from the Orange County Shelter in California. Sadly, this little guy, over bred and all alone has been marked for euthanasia."Always heartbreaking - we know the owner is never coming. This boy needs our help," stated a shelter volunteer; it's very difficult for everyone involved.
This little one doesn't have a name. His physical examination reveals the following:
"UNALTERED MALE , TAN CHIHUAHUA SH MIX, Age: 8 YEARS
Intake Condition: APC-MED
Luxating Patella - DENTAL TARTAR
This animal has been at the shelter since 11/09/2014. Review Date: 11/14/2014, Kennel 133"

More information is available by clicking here. In order to ensure the best outcome for this dog, he is currently labeled "rescue only" because of his luxating patella. It is possible for an adopter to sign a medical waiver, but that will have to be decided by the shelter. Don't forget to tell them kennel #133 and A1356207.
