The only thing cuter than a corgi playing on a beach: 634 corgis playing on a beach.More than 600 pups and their owners gathered Saturday on southern California’s Huntington Beach for the ninth installment of Corgi Beach Day, the Orange County Register reported.
The semiannual meetups began in 2012 after several corgi owners connected online, So Cal Corgi Nation organizers Dan and Kelly McLemore said. The McLemores started the social media group after they adopted their pup, Mr. Pickles, as a way to connect with other corgi lovers. The first in-person — and in-dog — meeting attracted about 20 corgis and their owners.
