There is a book called REINCARNATION
THE MISSING LINK IN CHRISTIANITY by
Elizabeth Clare Prophet that covers a lot of this...

Also here is an interesting quote..
"In the New Testatment there is internal evidence that parts of it have proceeded from an extraordinary man; and that other parts are of the fabric of very inferior minds. It is as easy to separate those parts, as it is to pick out diamonds from dunghills."

Thomas Jefferson
Letter to John Adams, 1814

Has anybody read The Aquarian Gospel of Jesus The Christ by Levi

It's recommended by Linda.

He tapped into the Akashic Records or Book of Remembrance if you're Jewish and this is where he got his information...in the intro it talks about his life and how he spent 40 yrs preparing himself for this project...it came to him in a dream in his younger years that he was to write a book. The book also talks about a prophet called Levi in the bible that would bring knowledge to people of all races regarding Jesus and things that people at the time couldn't understand or comprehend.
It talks about his lost years in India, Egypt, Greece, Tibet and gives detailed acounts of what he did whilst there.

Hope it helps

In their book "The Holy blood and the Holy grail", Baigent, Leigh and Lincoln suggest that Jesus was actually THE GROOM at the wedding in Kaanan! According to experts on ancient Jewish practises, at weddings the groom was responsible for providing his guests with enough to drink and the groom's mother acted as hostess. Prior to the probably most "popular" miracle of them all, Jesus' mother turns to him with this exact request. Hmmm...?

They also suggested Jesus was trained to be a Rabbi in his missing years, and that this status is revealed by the ways he is treated in different contexts. Just too bad that I can't give you any examples - typical of me to remember the interesting point, and not the argument!!!

I'm not sure if it adds up; are rabbis allowed to get married? I can't recall for the life of me - I read the book 6 years ago!

It's not that the historical figure of Jesus per se is so interesting; it's the way some people keep defending this rather random collection of texts that offer little more than "common sense" guidelines (like "You shall not kill"; you don't say!?) and ethnographic curiosities (The OT).
Spirituality?

The striking inconsistencies between the god of the OT and of Jesus' teachings ought to have dawned on some? How do they reconcile the two? I'd love to know!

Yes, Rabbis can marry. Unlike Catholic
priests who I believe should be allowed to
marry. But I guess thats a whole other
topic

Magnolia, yes, the belief is that Jesus married Mary Magdeline. She became pregnant with his son - He was crucified - she went into southern France and had His child.

Oh, what a can of worms!!!

You can read two of Sir Laurence Gardner's lectures online. He wrote the book Bloodline of the Holy Grail

These are great articles, each one is 3 parts.

I too have heard that Jesus may have spent his lost years in the east learning about hinduism/buddhism or something to that nature. I truly believe that it is a gift to believe in reincarnation and thats probably why many people disregard it. which is why we still have a Looooong way to go, you know towards the truth. One thing I've realized about reading this string is that were all trying sooo hard to seek the truth, and everytime we crack a little something theres still a whole mess to figure out

I believe there are historical records in India, recording the visit and travels of a Messiah called "Yeeshu".

Jesus ~> Jeesu ~> Yeeshu
