Any city anywhere on the planet, not just NYCV would have appeared as jeweled and the streets pave with gold, and needing neither the sun or moon...and so forth...
to a man in those days having a vision of the future. Re-read Revelation; it is John coming down, ie; he is looking at a city from above during an OBE state.IP: Logged |

Strangely enough I was quoting the book of Revelations today (probably the only bit I remember)
I had my handbag stolen two days ago and I am financially stymied.
No credit cards (mark of the beast?)
Cant get hold of any money, Have no id to persuade the banks I am who I say I am.
Decided at least whilst I was grounded to sort out the things they had taken e.g driving license.
Lost or stolen?You can order one on line.
Er...no you can't.
Not without a credit card.
I am now in financial limbo till the replacement ones arrive.
I have taken to wandering around like a lost soul unable to do anything because at some point you will be asked for i.d or a credit card.
And I remember roughly there being a passage in Revelations about you not being able to buy or sell without the mark of the beast.
I heard it was meant to be bar codes.
Wrong fellas. I am living proof it's credit cards.

to receive a mark in their right hand,
or in their foreheads: [Rev. 13:16] And that no man might buy or sell,
save he that had the mark,
or the name of the beast,
