There is One God,
the Eternal, the Only Being;
None exists save God.

There is One Master,
the Guiding Spirit of all souls,
Who constantly leads all followers toward the Light.

There is One Holy Book,
the Sacred Manuscript of Nature,
the only Scripture that can enlighten the reader.

There is One Religion,
the unswerving progress in the right direction toward the Ideal,
which fulfills the life's purpose of every soul.

There is One Law,
the Law of Reciprocity,
which can be observed by a selfless conscience,
together with a sense of awakened justice.

There is one Family,
the Human Family,
which unites the Children of Earth indiscriminately
in the Parenthood of God.

There is one Moral Principle,
the Love which springs forth from a willing heart,
surrendered in service to God and Humanity,
and which blooms in deeds of beneficence.

There is One Object of Praise,
the Beauty which uplifts the heart of its worshipper
through all aspects from the seen to the unseen.

There is One Truth,
the true knowledge of our being,
within and without,
which is the essence of Wisdom.

There is One Path,
the effacement of the limited self in the Unlimited,
which raises the mortal to immortality,
in which resides all Perfection.

~ Hazrat Inayat Khan

(The Spiritual Message of Hazrat Inayat Khan, Volume I - The Way of Illumination)

Some of Hazrat Inayat Khan's most famous sayings are:

"Shatter your ideals on the rock of Truth."

"There is nothing valuable except what we value in life."

"In a small affair or in a big affair, first consult yourself and find out if there is any conflict in your own being about anything you want to do. And when you find no conflict there, then feel sure that a path is already made for you. You have but to open your eyes and take a step forward, and the other step will be led by God."

"The difference between the divine and the human will is like the difference between the trunk of a tree and its branches. As from the boughs other twigs and branches spring, so the will of one powerful individual has branches going through the will of other individuals. So there are the powerful beings, the masters of humanity. Their will is God's will, their word is God's word, and yet they are branches, because the trunk is the will of the Almighty. Whether the branch be large or small, every branch has the same origin and the same root as the stem."

"The more one studies the harmony of music, and then studies human nature, how people agree and how they disagree, how there is attraction and repulsion, the more one will see that it is all music."

"Reason is the illusion of reality."

quote:
Sufism is not concerned with knowledge. Its whole concern is love, intense, passionate love: how to fall in love with the whole, how to be in tune with the whole, how to bridge the distance between the creation and the creator. The so-called organized religions of the world teach a kind of duality, that the creator is separate from the creation, that the creator is higher than the creation, it has to be renounced. Sufi's don't renounce, they rejoice. And that's what I am teaching you here: Rejoice! My sannyas is a way of rejoicing, not a way of renunciation.

Rumi has said:
If you are not one with the Beloved,
Seek!
And if you are in union,
Rejoice!
...
I am initiating you into the ways of love . . .One needs to be in such love that one is ready to risk all. That love is called ishq. You have all known muhabbah, the so-called ordinary love, which is just an emotion, a sentiment, superficial. One day you are in love, another day you are in hate. One day you love the person and you are ready to die for the person, and another day you are ready to kill the same person. One moment you are so nice, so beautiful, another moment you are so nasty, so ugly to the same person.

This is not ishq, ishq has depht. Ishq, passionate love for God, is not of the personality. It is of the essence. It comes from your center; from the very ground of your being it arises and possesses you. It is not within your control; on the contrary, you are in its control. Yes, you are drunk and you are mad.

Sufis have found ways and methods of how to create ishq. That is the whole Sufi alchemy: how to create ishq in you, how to create such a passion that you can ride on the wave of it and reach to the Ultimate.

Wherever the wild ones meet, the mad ones meet, wherever there is simplicity and love, and wherever there is prayer, zikr, remembrance of God, this miracle happens. You may not be able to see it. It is happening. I am not just teaching you about God. I am not interested in giving you knowledge about God. I am sharing my God with you; it is a sharing. I want to challenge your God which is asleep inside you, to provoke it. And that is the work Sufis have been doing down the ages: provoking the potential into the actual.

“There are two ways, basically only two, which lead to enlightenment. One is meditation and the other is love.” – Osho

Journey to the Heart:
Discourses on the Sufi Way

(formerly: Until You Die)

Through ten unique talks, based on Sufi stories, Osho offers deceptively simple lessons on how to die to the ego, and how to be reborn to Life. He speaks about the importance of meditation, the difference between knowledge and wisdom, the beauty of sadness – and about Love, as the true transformational force.

hardback; rare

Just Like That

This book illuminates traditional Sufi stories, revealing the hidden dimensions of Sufism.

hardback $22.95

Mojud: The Man with the Inexplicable Life

The story of Mojud is an ancient story, and like all great and timeless stories of life, it is hauntingly simple. It is a tale of spiritual liberation, a tale of trust. Osho's commentaries unfold around the story like a carpet of flowers.

This is a beautiful, large-sized book, with nine full-color illustrations of Mojud on his journey.

hardback; rare

The Perfect Master, Vol. 2

(Vol. 1 is rare)

Commenting on Sufi stories, Osho sheds light on the Master-disciple relationship, false Masters, dropping knowledge and ego.

hardback; rare

The Secret

Osho touches the essence and flowering of the way of the Sufis through the seed of Sufism, La illaha ill Allah: “There is no God but God.”

hardback; rare

Sufis: The People of the Path, Vol. 1

"I am not talking on Sufism, I will be talking Sufism. If you are ready to go into this adventure, then you will attain to a taste of it. It is something that will start happening to your heart. It is something like a bud opening. You will start feeling a certain sensation in the heart - as if something is becoming alert, awake there; as if the heart has been asleep for long, and now, the first glimmer of the morning - and there you will have the taste." (Osho)

hardback; 19.95

Unio Mystica

Unio Mystica, Vol. 1 and 2

Discourses on the Sufi Mystic, Hakim Sanai
Osho comments on Hakim Sanai's book of poems, Hadiqa: The Walled Garden of Truth. "Such books are not written, they are born. These words are saturated with satori." Introduction by Coleman Barks.

hardback; 14.95 (each volume)

The Wisdom of the Sands, Vol. 1

Osho discusses and clarifies the Sufi approach to religiousness: being total, living meditatively, and transcending experience.

How could it not?

Sufism is not a religion.

Sufism is a word for that which is not-yet-religion.

Sufism predates all religions.

Sufism predates the music of the spheres.

It is a word for the silence beyond all arising phenomenal conditions.

When all religions have passed into the dust,
and all the worlds along with them, -
and the word "Sufism" is forgotten, -
there will still be the silence.

That is Sufism.

And This is That.

The Awareness which is Silent,
while the objects of Awareness vibrate with sound.

This is where I get upset..

Our existence is never gone, there have been so many creations and falls, it never ends, and our Soul always remains the same..
I live with one foot here on Earth, and on foot in Heaven, simultaniously..I am connected to my OverSoul, through my Mind..

religion is not of GOD, Man created it! And then it became a tool for power and ego. ...

The Truth is within us all, that is where you find the Truth, Know ThySelf, and GOD, connect, for ggodness sake, and SEE and HEAR..

anything we write or create on this plane is jaded, by this material world..

no tools are reguired to talk to God, that is what your body temple is for, Mind to OverSoul = GOD

"This is the World of Illusion"

when will people realize that everything we do is connected to everybody, and everything..

Heart--Shaped Cross, I am going to go apologize to you in FFA..I'm just very
upset with you, you are preaching some
false things, God MOther and Father want
Truth to be presented, over and over again
you preach form books and quotes, and don't go
within and connect with GOD, your actions
have a re-Action, you are respnosible for
what you present to the World..
take your time and think about that, to
perpetuate lies, is not a good thing!

Well said.
Find the invisible grain of truth in all things.

and

"Every silver lining has a touch of grey."

Truth has never been spoken, by anyone, ever.

26Taurus,

Which is not different from

Which is not different from

The True Love is allied to Awareness,
and not to the passsing objects,
pleasing or displeasing,
of Awareness.

Your Awareness is always HERE.

As Awareness, you are complete.

But you know this.

Lotus Always good to see you!

I'm not sure so much whether it was 'preaching' in as much as EXPLORING......Ya know.....as J.M. said in an interview "Aware of many things, but not really sure of anything"

This is the world of illusion

There are the doors of perception.....then there are the doors of DEception.....They swing both ways

There is something in human nature, mankind/ manUNkind.....that makes some of us latch onto faith/ religion and then claim, with zeal, that we have the truth the whole truth and nothing but the truth.......Jehovahs Witnesses....Mormons.....Muslims....to name a few......and there are many wonderful people with warm, warm hearts and the passion in their blood for the quest for all that is pure and virtuous......BUT THEY CANNOT ALL BE RIGHT if they all think their's is the truth, 100% and no-one else's.....So which one is right?

We are just searching for the truth....to put all our faith 100% into any ONE given faith or teacher or concept just obscures this quest.....that is the way I personally see it anyway.

That is not to say that Truth does not exist....I wholeheartedly believe in Truth (except, lol, for odd days when I experience manic depression, but I'm fighting these old demons)......

This path is NOT an easy one. It is not for everyOne. This is why some people are better off with the direction and guidance religion has to offer and nurture them with. It doesn't matter. There are many paths. God has many names but He/She always hears.

SattvicMoon picked out these beautiful words from Linda's work the other day:

quote:
the ageless melody, unheard, heals......the healing vision, unseen leads......the true leaders, unknown rescue....the rescuers, immortal, know....

There are so many different words and ways to paint the Truth but it's all the same

Since we are all connected, and children of MOther and Father God, there-in lies the Truth.
In the beginning, we knew this..there was no separatism caused by religions..there was just the Truth..Our Soul remains same eternally..
When people finally come to
Know ThySelf
and Know God MOther and Father, all the Truths will be the same..we are all family, in Heaven we are all in Harmony, our OverSouls, that we can connect with, must connect with, for it is Our True Self..

when we created our own new truths, and turned our backs on God, we cause the separtism, then it became something driven by ego, and agenda, for POwer Over Others..
We must all Unite in the Truth..
ALL for One
and One for ALL. ...

each thing we do affects Us all, we must do good things, we must fix this mess we made!

Or, it will be fixed for Us...
and then a new beginning,

I want Linda's Dream to come True, to re-Verse the Poles, to bring Heaven on Earth..a new Golden Age, Pax et Bonum..

I do not want Us to have to learn the hard way, again, it hurts too much..so much pain, so much suffering, so much death..

I LOve ALL of YOU, So very Much, all my family from the Sky, Star Seeds, Indeed!
Soul Sister, and Brothers. ...

LOve and Magic!

and to revealing...
THE SECRET OF 13... .

I don't think it will happen yet....I think we will alter our own vibrational frequencies individually, at our own pace, by our own Free Will....We chose to leave Heaven, to enter this realm in the flesh.....As long as we are on Earth....Earth, the place where we must kill to live (whatever way you look at it, even if you only eat plants it's still killing....you are still stepping on bugs and killing stuff unwittingly....if a virus enters your body then better that you survive than the life-form which is the virus, etc, etc)....

Global revolution? I'll believe miracles when I see them. I think that what the religious fanatics, even the ones who kill, really long for in their hearts is global unity....they look at the corruption of this materialistic and self-gratifying society and only see the negative without the positive......but there's positive too

We can fix this mess in ourselves but...I don't think....we can change the world. Just to have compassion for all.

Always with an open mind.

NICKELBACK LYRICS

"If Everyone Cared"

From underneath the trees, we watch the sky
Confusing stars for satellites
I never dreamed that you'd be mine
But here we are, we're here tonight

Singing Amen, I, I'm alive
Singing Amen, I, I'm alive

[Chorus:]
If everyone cared and nobody cried
If everyone loved and nobody lied
If everyone shared and swallowed their pride
Then we'd see the day when nobody died

And I'm singing

Amen I, Amen I, I'm alive
Amen I, Amen I, Amen I, I'm alive

And in the air the fireflies
Our only light in paradise
We'll show the world they were wrong
And teach them all to sing along

Singing Amen, I, I'm alive
Singing Amen, I, I'm alive
(I'm alive)

[Chorus x2]

And as we lie beneath the stars
We realize how small we are
If they could love like you and me
Imagine what the world could be

If everyone cared and nobody cried
If everyone loved and nobody lied
If everyone shared and swallowed their pride
Then we'd see the day when nobody died
When nobody died...

[Chorus]

We'd see the day, we'd see the day
When nobody died
We'd see the day, we'd see the day
When nobody died
We'd see the day when nobody died
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Expect A Miracle"
I always do!
I Believe
I Believe
I Believe
Great first post HSC!!!
26T - I went spiralling reading Osho's comments
The first lesson of enlightenment "God is Truth. Truth is Eternal."
What is eternity? You cannot measure it with time. For if you measure it with time that which is new will be old later. That which is old was once new. So when you now read "theres nothing new under the sun." remember that it is not what spirituality teaches you.
Cheers!!!
