I only had time for the second link - who could resist "Dark Bible"? I assumed it would be more of the same, but, to my pleasant surprise, it was quite amusing."And he said, Thou canst not see my face: for there shall no man see me, and live. And the LORD said, Behold, there is a place by me, and thou shalt stand upon a rock: and it shall come to pass, while my glory passeth by, that I will put thee in a cleft of the rock, and will cover thee with my hand while I pass by: and I will take away mine hand, and thou shalt see my back parts; but my face shall not be seen." (Exodus 33:20-23) In verse 11 we read that God spoke to Moses, face-to-face. Yet in seeming contradiction, we have later God telling Moses that he cannot see His face. Instead, God decides to show Moses his back parts! "Back parts" of course serves as a euphemism for "ass". In other words, God here says to Moses "thou shalt see my ass." unbelievable. I suppose this is why the Catholic Church didn't allow the layman to read the Bible? I was always offended by that old rule, but lately I sometimes find myself sympathizing. Thanks for the morning laugh, lexx IP: Logged |

silverstone... the HORRIBLE passages ARE ACTUALLY FROM THE BIBLE!...so it is not an issue of "closer to the truth than the Bible"...those things are actually there IN THE BIBLE! ------------------ It is not about waiting for storms to pass...it is about learning to dance in the rain! __________________________________________________________________________ IP: Logged |

Silverstone , you and I may understand the occult meaning of such phrases as "the back part", but the majority do not. (Certainly I don't mean to imply any superiority on our part. We simply have odd interests, yes? ) When those entrenched in a materialistic mindset and hampered by a biased perspective attempt to decode the esoteric elements of the Bible, Quran or Gita etc, they are bound to fail. Again, there's nothing wrong with these folk necessarily, they're only trying to hammer in a nail with a screwdriver. So, we're left with a bunch of ninnys scratching their heads and wondering if "the back part" refers to the Divine Arse. The contradictions are irritants which, with study, contemplation and Grace, become pearls. IP: Logged |

Speaking of weird words/wordings... quote:
I sat down under his shadow with great delight, and his fruit was sweet to my taste. -- Song of Solomon 2:3 (AV)
quote: My beloved put in his hand by the hole of the door, and my bowels were moved for him. -- Song of Solomon 5:4 (AV)
More here: http://www.godlessgeeks.com/LINKS/BibleQuotes.htm And these... Holy loud musical flatulence? Holy Farts! quote: King James Bible Wherefore my bowels shall sound like an harp for Moab, and mine inward parts for Kirharesh.American King James Version Why my bowels shall sound like an harp for Moab, and my inward parts for Kirharesh. Douay-Rheims Bible Wherefore my bowels shall sound like a harp for Moab, and my inward parts for the brick wall. Darby Bible Translation Therefore my bowels sound like a harp for Moab, and mine inward parts for Kirheres. English Revised Version Wherefore my bowels sound like an harp for Moab, and mine inward parts for Kir-heres. Webster's Bible Translation Wherefore my bowels shall sound like a harp for Moab, and my inward parts for Kir-haresh. Young's Literal Translation Therefore my bowels for Moab as a harp do sound, And mine inward parts for Kir-Haresh.
Some translators say "bowel(s)" means love and compassion, emotion, heartfelt and so forth. Sounds iffy to me. ------------------ It is not about waiting for storms to pass...it is about learning to dance in the rain! __________________________________________________________________________

Methinks "God" didn't want us to see their faces, because they were hiding their true identity from us, and only appear to be human. It's "They Live". http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-9005367754264973286&ei=NU4GSZyIPJKw2QK437jUDQ&q=they+live IP: Logged |

I've been reading that "Dark Bible" link, it's excellent, thanks for posting. http://www.nobeliefs.com/DarkBible/DarkBibleContents.htm The more I read of it, the more I am convinced that the Bible is speaking of the ET's people like David Icke have written about. Also, I don't think God, Satan, Lucifer or Jesus look very trustworthy! They all seem to be conspiring together!

The Ark of the Covenant was a communication device for ET's (I think)....some ET's were nicer than others. There is no good or evil....just some people/ beings who have forgotten who they really are. IP: Logged |
