She is an aqua BTW. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pwGLNbiw1gk&feature=related What Jesus is, we can be too. Get over the incumbent Jesus you came to know. You are your own savior and you just don't know how to. Buddhism is not suited for everyone nor is christianity. Buddhism is for the scientific minds and christianity for emotional people. There are several paths. One knows which path suits one, when you notice the difference in you and when people talk about their perceived change in you. Follow that path as it gave you results.

I am as far from an Oprah fan as you're likely to find, but I'm not hearing much of a denial either.IP: Logged |

Well most others were saying Jesus is the only way and Oprah said Jesus is not the only way there are many ways. To the christians it is an incredible idea. Which I can understand. But the reason is why choose many paths at once? You will not reach anythwhere if you do that. Also if you really followed the christian way as it was supposed to, you will not be stubborn to say that it is the only way? It means your ego still remains. Will share a joke. A missionary went to Japan and he read the sermon on mount to an old man. The old man said those are "beautiful words, whoever said them must be a Buddha." The missionary then said "so do you accept Jesus as the savior? will you convert?" The old man was a Zen master. He smiled.

This Just In...JESUS DENIES JESUS!!! I and my Father are one.
Then the Jews took up stones again to stone him. Jesus answered them, Many good works have I shewed you from my Father; for which of those works do ye stone me? The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God. Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, "I said, Ye are gods"? If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken; Say ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the Son of God? If I do not the works of my Father, believe me not. But if I do, though ye believe not me, believe the works: that ye may know, and believe, that the Father is in me, and I in him. ~ John, 10:30-38

Yes , good one there HSC.We can never be separated from God. What separates us is our ego. But it is no point arguing with people, when the ego is ready to mature and crack open it will be an awakening. Until then it is like speaking with a brick wall We are all free, there is no bondage of heaven and hell or whatever stops you from recognizing. Then you ask if its that easy why are we still not enlightened? Well, perform every activity keeping that in mind, sooner or later you will arrive at a place or time where you too will say "Yes, I am God". That does not mean you will actually say it

After Oprah's unwillingness to interview McCain and Palin, I've denied her. Everyone else can get past their own personal views and interview both sides, all except rich beyotch Oprah. Whatevs.Tyra or Ellen will take her job over eventually anything. IP: Logged |

Hi Lynx,I would agree with you, except that Oprah is not a reporter. Her fame rests on giving her personal opinions, showcasing the books and celebrities she personally likes, or showing primarily human interest stories. Her show and her magazine are not intended to be viewed as news, or as substitutes for news. I think its great when a powerful person can use their influence as an expression of their true will. There are plenty of mere documentarians and puppet interviewers, who are so careful not to have an opinion and take a position. Oprah, specifically, does not impress me much, but for other reasons. I think it is perfectly fine not to interview people whose views, aims and agendas you honestly do not wish to support. And I think that one reason Oprah got to the place she did, is that she was not content to remain in the background, but wanted to share her own point of view. IP: Logged |

>>>>I think it is perfectly fine not to interview people whose views, aims and agendas you honestly do not wish to supportI think it is not fine. Even though she may disagree she has to listen to the other side. Which talk host does not want to invite people with opposing views? It is in their best interest to reach out to larger crowd. She may have already eliminated many of 42 million of viewers who didn't agree with her but still watched her shows. She was routing for Obama because subconsciously she was voting for a black man. There is no denying.
I am against black liberation theologists. One janitor told me he wants to see black people everywhere -- no whites. Such arrogant blokes and bitches. Scares the bejesus out of me. I doubt if they can ever take the black out of them. IP: Logged |
