God Is In..... the DETAILS!

There's a song that Paramahansa Yogananda used to sing--called, O God Beautiful!

We were taught the tune and words in an ARE Conference I'd attended in the Summer of 1975. After I was comfortable enough with the tune, and the repetitive words, the "meanings" came alive to me. Yes, How beautiful!!

Before that experience, in my very early teens, I had experienced the revelation that "God" is the spirit of "Love" (in much the same way as song, O God Beautiful)-- I had lingered in the chapel alone after Mass, after all the people had gone. The song was going through my head --

LYRICS: God is Love, and he who abides in Love, abides in God, and God in him....

Suddenly, I saw an image in my brain, and felt a warm presence... Thought, God... is a Spirit! God is NOT some old man sitting 'up there' on some concrete huge throne with the 'pigeons' flying around his head!! (okay? it was sooo, ~~'urban'? )

So as I sat in that conference in 1975, I had a similar 'dawning' experience... reflecting on song, O God Beautiful!

GOD IS IN.... THE FOREST "AS"
the sense-quality & essence of breathable air and soft gentleness and expanse that embodies the view of color 'green'

GOD IS IN.... The Mountain AS the essential sense of wide-unreachableness, yet an observable all-encompassing quality of awesome wide stability and 'lift' ... raw majesty that is 'close and yet' far, simultaneously... the quality 'high-ness'

GOD IS IN.... The River AS the active observable current, the moving energy and invisible-plasma in the welters that meet and are called the quality of 'restlessness'

GOD IS IN .... The Ocean AS its body and form, in the embodiment and far out-reaching 'grave-ness' (depth & width & distance, with a viscosity)
