Hey Lexx,

that's cool.
God is a subject I find myself struggling for words with.
I don't often text my opinions on it, they stem from copious reading, thinking, and personal inner journeys - so I've rarely discussed any of it.
My journeys in this experience have always been solitary.

I don't feel the need to put god into form any more, I'm not even sure I ever have. The search for meaning in life is huge for me and I expect it always will be.

I can connect to something greater than my self but I'm pretty sure that's just LIFE itself.

I've got a lot of theories on the concept of god. I call myself consciously agnostic because I don't believe or disbelieve but neither do I actually care to know the "truth".

Yet to live life without meaning - I couldn't do that. Neither can I imagine what it's like to not have the collective unconscious to plug into.

I read something really interesting (but can't remember where at this point in time) that god or at least the concept of him died when they started getting people into churches on a sunday. It had the effect of basically sectioning off ones spirituality to a particular day of the week.

I struggle with the concept of god...I see so much hostility coming from those who claim to believe in some sort of god that it makes me ask questions as to who it is that they're really praying to. It is partly this reason that I'd rather not have anything to do with him ...if that's what belief does to people then I'd just rather not believe anything at all.

If he turns up on my doorstep tomorrow morning then I'll re-evaluate my decisions but if not - I'm a happy agnostic with an insane amount of curiosity into why people believe the things that they do.

Philosophy, religion and belief are big things for me, I've got a 9th house sun and mercury and everything aspecting neptune. That neptune is also in 2 separate yods as well as a thors hammer... so the whole issue of what lies beyond really is massive yet I don't or can't put god in a box and say "there he is".

I believe that God is, above all else, merciful and loving. I believe that God is *both* masculine (Jesus/the father side) and feminine (Holy Spirit). I believe that God is understanding, intelligent, creative, and that God loves ALL people no matter what. I believe that people who say that God hates x group are speaking of THEIR hate and prejudice, not God's. God is all-loving. God is good. God accepts, forgives, and understands in ways that humans simply can't.

Whilst I do not agree 100% with most viewpoints;
I like this thread!
