It's not 'losing friends' if you keep friendly ties with them.As you grow, you (may hopefully) discover a new world of people who vibe on your level. It's very lonely not to be able to identify who they are in the physical realms. Locally, I have not found nor been able to identify my physical-people group.  Maybe I'm too unique?

Except for my spouse;
all my many old in person friends are dead.
Online I have only 6 on fb.
However rarely converse these days.
I have been too ill to make new friends and simply do not have any energy left.
I no longer go out.
Then Covid-19 hit;
so going out even if I could do so is no longer an option;
and been mostly bed bound for over 3 months to date.
Still spiritual but in weird ways.
It stops me from just calling it all quits.
It has all come full circle to seeing clearly that my best friend is
and has always been
me, myself, and I.
Seriously;
if one does not love and like and enjoy ones' own company;
no amount of external "friends" will ever fill the void left if one does not love self first.------------------
