He liked and did many things not in line with the Jewish people and religion of those times. Hence he was often insulted by the Jews and they even tried to stone him a couple of times.

This thread should have never been started.
Ami is spreading hate for most of humanity and wishing for hellfire destruction and damnation.
Kind of hard to respond with love and light to that.
She has openly publicly stated that she can do as she wishes, hurt, kill, lie, cheat, steal, etc; and is so pure she will go to heaven but good people in who do not believe exactly as she does will go to hell.

personally, i believe that a belief in christ or god only goes so far anyways.
sure you can pray for salvation but what does it really matter if the only thing you do is pray?
obviously god isnt doing anything to help the starving people of africa, so why pray about it? the answer is simple. do something yourself.

Don't worry lexxi, agreed with you that it is very cliched to jump into the middle of conversations and start spreading 'love and light' another cliche whatever that is,....
without knowing what is going on. I don't want read two over used words lol, i want real conversations and thought exchanges, even if only to learn how to respond civilly when someone is pressing so many buttons in so little time. Also don't agree that this thread is 100% useless. I actually thought this thread started because it is good what the Pope said, not the opposite...sigh
