Arrrghhhh...now one of my replacement posts posted.....
And people I thought "got" me or at least tried to;
don't seem to "get" me like I had assumed they did. 
And that seriously sucks.
I give up for now.
This is all so damn depressing and stressful and the damn glitchings don't help.
Best I just give up for a few hours on posting and just observe.

I haven`t seen it glitching but I made a copy so far. Maybe let Randall sort it out? ------------------

A lot of people are feeling sensitive right now. We're all bouncing off each other. I know it hurts - I accidentally offended someone I like very much, because I was careless with the way I phrased something. I had a cry, but it's stopped now, because I have to trust that it will be sorted. I know it's hard, because it can take a while, and more hurts can accumulate in the process.
There are people here who "get" you, and will continue to do so, I'm sure of it.  IP: Logged |

I have made multiple copies.
Not going to post until I know thread has stabilized and I try to clear my head.

I'm not laughing at anyone, Lexx. I'm smiling at the futility of continuing this conversation. We all seem to be a bit misunderstood at the moment. It happens sometimes.  Can be frustrating, that's true, but nothing I let myself get too upset over.

Considering closing this thread as few get my points and it is going off in all kinds of directions (my title was not clear enough it seems) and it has not helped resolve anything.
I will possibly try and to come up with a thread where I can be clearer on what the problems are are how to resolve them.
Also threads discussing any ancient writings concerning the 3 main religions being followed these days;
Discuss, not argue;
but so far that has proven to also be considered by most as extremely taboo topics. 
Or will not post any more threads with my povs and only post what makes people happy and is fun, or on mythos like Roman, Mayan, etc. and not anything to remotely do with any religions still being followed in these times. It p!sses too many off.
Well to repeat;
Not sure exactly what I will do.
I feel the heavy weight of censorship upon me.
Oh yes,
I will contribute and be all nicey;
but my hands are quite clearly being tied when it comes to the really important things relevant to these current times.

It has become a rather peaceful and sharing community. Nothing at all to "shudder" over Most of the posts you mentioned are not GU material anyhow but give it a visit! ------------------

I looked today, and it still looks mostly too political and
anti Democratic for me, and too much for other things I am against.
I do not need the added stress.
Respectfully I think it best
for all concerned that I stay away from GU for the most part for now.

Yes, I'm afraid I did miss it. I come and go, don't look in for long stretches. I've seen plenty of disagreements, of course, and occasionally they become something ugly, but apart from Ami I'm not aware of any conservative fundamentalist Christian here who could possibly take offense with your pov. In fact, my impression is that your safely in the LL majority regarding matters both spiritual and religious. IP: Logged |

No, lol, my povs are not as in majority here at LL as you seem to think. LL seems to be becoming more Christian as time goes on. That comes as a surprise seeing how this is not a Christian site. I have gotten wind of some who thought it is a Christian site due to Ami's pink matching LL colors banner with its Christian advertising.
That is however Randall,s business, but it does give that impression, and Ami is a moderator of a few forums.
Again this is not against Ami; I am just saying that the feel all of LL has become rather leaning heavily towards Christian in my and some others povs.
The other issue oddly is some of the worse haters are NOT religious. They see me as being a big meanie towards any religion and have told me I have no right to protest religious bigotry, nor disagree with anyone, nor discuss the bible and contradictions and so forth. There is more, but basically I am being blamed for making DD a war zone and scaring folks away. So unless I totally shut up, or be false and kiss up to folks when I disagree, or never mention bible discrepancies/contradictions and so forth;
I am seen as a trouble maker making DD a bad place and unwelcome.
The thing is;
there are only a few who seem to hate my presence here.
As you thought, my povs are in LL majority;
even though they actually are not;
but few are to my knowledge against me or even care.
But the few who are, and were,
ouch......made me almost leave not only DD but LL.
I stay away from threads now where I know religious bigotry is preached against gays for example. Yes, that is what they are supposed to believe, that gays are an abomination and evil;
so in their view they are simply posting about what their religion tells them to believe and do.
So where do we draw the line when biblical laws say this is how they should think;
but it violates human rights?
Should preaching or posting such hate beliefs be permitted here at LL?
Such beliefs/teachings are in the main 3 Abrahamic religions.
At what point is is wrong to post about what believes and its harmless and at what point is is against human rights and even some modern laws?
I know I am sick of reading about homosexuality is a sin a perversion, etc; and tired of reading about most of humanity is damned to burn in hell for eternity;
tired of this way or that way is the only way.......it just goes on and on.
