I felt shielded, strengthened, connected to All (which the runes in a circle symbolize), liberated, and the ability to survive (and on multiple levels) which the cat also helps symbolize:  There is simply no image to do justice to the ineffable beauty I experienced, so I'll go with this for a feeling during the vision:  And this, once I recovered my energy, and especially later when I was dancing with witches:  And also strong, unbreakable (I do believe my vision is why I survived at all):  I used to have this pic on a poster I made which served as something of an icon, representing freedom of spirit who helps others and stands against the forces of Ragnarok:  And finally, that time I danced with witches to music and we took up a chant ("Isis, Astarte, Diana, Hecate, Demeter, Kali, Inanna..." and some of us threw in our own goddesses at times, with me throwing in "Freya") we felt the energy build up between us, wash over us, it was an incredibly mystical experience, one that united me to them as Sisters and to the Goddess in all of us, and it's also ineffable with no image able to do the feeling justice...but here's a poor attempt at it (okay, LL can't post it, I'll go with this one--ok, two--which is a distant 2nd):   IP: Logged |
