I've been studying it for a bit. I've unknowingly already had some practice since my mother's interest in esoterica and my curiosity and appeal to anything mysterious or magical. Idk if this is even the right thread to post this request on but I couldn't really find any other. I see it as a universal teaching since it's mostly Pagan.IP: Logged |

I'm not a Wiccan so I can't be a real mentor but I'm very familiar with it. I've understood and even appreciated the symbols & mysteries even better than some who do identify as Wiccan. Therefore I can probably be of help. In the meantime, I'm waiting for this thread to get transferred to Divine Diversities (so don't get confused when this thread is "locked" in Global Unity). Okay, so you're saying it's funny that a mod had her thread moved. Still, I have to agree with Randall, DD is better than GU. Fact is, I don't think virgolotus even looked (and therefore "couldn't really find") before posting it on GU as DD is the obvious place for it and GU is not (even going by the description of the forum). Though if she sees Wicca as more occult than religious then it would be Uni-versal Codes. IP: Logged |

I thought everything seemed odd. Most Moderators would know where to put it, you would not have to tell them where it was going. I have very seldom seen posts from this Moderator. I just thought it seemed like it might have come from the Twilight Zone or something. Wasn't casting aspersions on anyone, it just seemed odd. IP: Logged |

I would appreciate that. Which way of communication would be easiest for you? IP: Logged |

Here is fine.Or if you prefer, right click on my name in the moderator list of Divine Diversities and copy my email, and email me. I don't check it everyday, so even if I post here it doesn't mean I've seen it yet. But I do try to check it at least once every other day. In case it helps I'll add that the list of moderator names looks like this (and you won't see it while you're still in this thread, you have to get into the forum outside of threads and look to the top on the left): quote: Divine Diversities (moderated by Lexxigramer, doommlord, PixieJane)

If you have a default mail client chosen, all you have to do is click on a mod's name, and it will do the rest for you. IP: Logged |

This month's Full Moon will be this Friday the 13th which is a sacred number in Wicca since there is 13 phases of the moon and there's also so much to do with that number like the members of a coven or like the 12 disciples plus Jesus, Zeus and the 12 Olympians and King Arthur and his 12 knights, it all adds up to 13. I was wondering, what would be a good ritual or what should I be striving for on this date? I know the Full Moons rituals but I believe this one is really special so I want an extra kick to it.IP: Logged |

13 is the number of transcendence (12 are, simply speaking, the 12 signs of the zodiac, and 13 is the spirit that unite and transcends them all, in astrological terms "God/dess"). So if it were me I'd think of doing something about being closer to the Goddess & God, or balancing all the 4 elements within me. Btw, table of correspondences cheat sheet: http://www.americanwiccan.com/thetables.html Check out days of the week there. IP: Logged |

And I thought I'd bring this site to your attention: http://witchvox.com/ Note that on the left hand side you can find "your town." Use that feature and you can find groups, shops, and even individuals in your area. (I've experimented with it, I've even found pagans in the deep rural Bible Belt where I'd have never expected them.) IP: Logged |
