That's called Coreopsis, Randall... like a hardy daisy!

I really miss spending time in a garden...

"... superb in the border. Reliable, long blooming daisy-like flowers are produced from early summer into fall. Just give these perennials some sun and enjoy the show.
Coreopsis naturalize with ease and will attract lots of butterflies and birds to your garden. Bright and cheery, they make great cut flowers."

Garden of Humanity... It was Leonard Bernstein's Birthday yesterday. His music feels Sacred, as my Soul Soars!

What a rich and extraordinary Gift God gave us, in Mr. Bernstein. His gift of musical inspiration still flowers richly on our planet. Via youtubes, we have the archives of sooo many of his Master teachings (at the college levels), and videos of him conducting his OWN works.

I found out once that a friend I had, had been in the audience of Bernstein's debut. The conductor took ill, and Bernstein stepped up.

I had another friend who shuttled him around Washington DC. This friend had been a coworker at a movie theatre I was box-office cashiering at (and sometimes assistant manager for) in the 1970s while in college.

He used to be quite the ~unique dresser, *ahem* in his fiery polyester RED-Orange suit he owned, and 'happened' to be wearing when he met Mr. Bernstein, and Bernstein commented that he loved it! omg!! lmao. ~if you only knew???

Then, I had another friend who studied Conducting with him at Indiana. Bernstein took a shine to him, and had him turn pages at some of his concerts. Bernstein often conducted symphonies FROM the piano, which was an unusual ability.... My friend was sooo amazed, because Bernstein kept nodding at him to turn pages, turn pages, and he'd be ~like 17 pages AHEAD -- Bernstein had a remarkable ability to hold that all at once.

I have admired this man for decades! An absolute thrill...

More beds of coreopsis in this film .... splices of vintage reels. Quiet & relaxing music.

It's an odd flower, but I like it. Maybe I like it due to it being odd.

Butterflies... Wings of Delight and Beauty that sprout from Worms, who have no idea of the Future of Possibility that awaits them!

Not wormsies ... Guess not. Coz caterpillars have footsies!

You might find little tiny stilettos on this one, if you look close enough.

The first short vid is a close up of a live crawler.. looks like she could be walking on tiny little stilettos?? hmmmmmm, don't know for sure there?? Need confirmation on that! LOL.

The second is an animated story about a caterpillar who wore colorful and different styles of shoes on each of its feet. Winds around the town, in caterpillar fashion of course! (pun intended), and starts feeling the spirit of wanting to give shoes away. Thoughtfully considers the appropriateness of each gift made to different insect-friends met along the way. They were pleased, and it gave him pleasure to see them enjoying what he gave.

At the right time, goes through the process of changing into a (real) chrysalis then a (real) butterfly. Then takes to flight, surveilling the land from a new perspective, seeing the results of givingness.

Narrated like a storybook aimed at children... But you know, adults can appreciate the little reminder for their own life, reflecting perhaps on the various stages and transformations they've moved through over the course of a LifeTime.

Faith has butterfly attracting shrubbery planted around her Houses of Stones and Lights.

Just Beautiful.... the kinds of things you can find here, when you Look.

Oh! ... I hear a Harp playing, and a Lovely Lady to sing a gentle misty song in the Garden.

Bowfinger is a stupid name for a movie, which is probably why many people didn't go see it, but it stars Eddie Murphy and Steve Martin. It's a movie about making a movie without the main star knowing he is in a movie.

Such philosophy... so true isn't it? People watch our lives all the time. Sometimes our messes can be a Message!

Funny clip... dog walking with high heels.

He thought aliens were taking over the planet, and he heard the footsteps getting closer and closer, but no one was behind him (the dog was on the other side of the cars), so he screamed and ran away.
