So with one of my Amazon gift cards I ordered a bunch dried flowers.

I had some dried figs on display. I am bathing with them in my bath now.

I dabble in this and that! I read up on feng shui, witchcraft, alternative health, psychology.

Reading into feng shui. They say no dead/dried flowers because it puts dead energy in your space. So I have been thinking lately “do I really believe that?”

I think for me personally once a bouquet of flowers is floppy, done, going from white to tan, it’s time to let them go.

I think it’s not good for my psyche in my personal experience wilted flowers in a vase is not good for me to see.

But flowers that have been dried purposefully and professionally is that really a hazard to good vibes?!

I think rotting fruit is not ideal, but dried fruit?

With the belief of something dried being dead…I was thinking about this literally. So that means eating dried fruit is bad. And that means that there is a lot of dead energy in my kitchen. Because of all the dried spices and herbs. I love tea, tea comes from dried herbs. Tea is not bad, I feel amazing when I drink tea.

Plus with witchcraft dried sachet bags of dried flowers and herbs.

I’ve been meditating on this for a few months, and deciding what to believe. And for now I’ve come to the conclusion that dried food/herbs/flowers good. Rotting and wilting food/herbs/flowers are no.

I was not sure where to post this, but these are indeed divine diversities.

Do you practice any of these beliefs? What are your thoughts?

Heard a wise being say once -- consciousness is not in the body, the body is in the consciousness. So the body may die but consciousness lives on. body will take time to recycle completely. No wonder some tradition burn the bodies than bury as some do.

point is there is some energy left behind even when body is dead so some use is obtained.

Very interesting insight Phoenix.

I felt good about my decision with the garland and then bathing with it the next day. I had great days with husband. While today was challenging. I would say overall Peonies are a good remedy for married people going through Venus and Pluto conjunct Saturn transit(I'm the Saturn.)

Oh my gosh, my friend has been holding on to yellow roses in his apartment. The guy ended up not being very nice. The flowers are dried up. Like two years. He has another bouquet from another guy who disappointed him.

I just feel like it's bad energy because the men disappointed him. And the flowers are wilted/dead. I would certainly get something like that staying the hell up outta my house. It bugs me so much to see them in his home. I almost want to tell him my opinion. But I also don't want to shove my beliefs down his throat, and he hasn't asked for my advice.

If someone really does me wrong, I do not keep things that they gave me, I want those type of vibes out of my house as much as possible.

It really makes a difference psychologically. I feel better when instantly and liberated when I get rid of things in my home from a toxic person.

And to get even more off topic my sister's husband has a history of mental health issues. So when they inherited a bunch of painting from his grandma. This one painting really bugged me. My sister and I are huge believers of Law of Attraction. I remember watching The Secret. The man who painted wanted love, but he kept painting women who were looking away, and displayed them in his home.

So I am a big believer in only having uplifting art or something you want to attract.

Well my sister had this painting in her old home of an women riding a bike with like 10 bird cages stacked on top of each other in the basket. I feel like the painting was suppose to be humors and quirky but I felt like it was awful look at all the time psychologically. Like the person is carrying too much unrealistic weight and expectations.
I really wanted to say something, but I wouldn't want someone telling me what I shouldn't have in my home if I didn't ask.

So when she got her new home I was telling her how relieved I was that she doesn't have that painting in her home now, and how much it bugged me and why. She was like I know, there are so much of the art from that family is depressing to look at and she tries to hide most of them in the attic from her husband who has depression.

Does this belong at Divine Diversities⁉️
Perhaps Hearth And HOME would be better suited⁉️
Or Health And Healing⁉️
I do however understand what you
are talking about with the
dead dried fruit etcetera😎💙
Dried fruit is often still alive but
dormant.
Some can even be made to sprout
new plants😎
Once you digest such things live or dead
they become dead in your stomach
acids anyhow💙
The nutrients will still be there for the body to use😎
Some even improve their viability and concentrations of beneficial aspects when dried😎
Interesting topic
Thank you😎❤️

Hi Lexx!
Yeah I wasn't sure where to post this either. Maybe even Giaa's Garden. But that part of the forum is fun to stop by, but it's kinda dead there compared to other area's of discussion. I feel like people using nature and flowers is a practice that can bring us closer to the divine here...so I thought I would give it a go. I really want to hear diverse perspectives on how people feel about dried flowers. It seems like in Asian cultures dried flowers are not good. But for a lot of witch craft it seems encouraged.

Thank you too!

Yes I have a friend who asked for a poster or building set for his birthday...as I look online I am trying to be careful of what I give him to feature in his home.

I can respect artists painting depressing/dark/macabre art. But I think most of it is best displayed in a museum.

Something I haven't shared yet, but has been on my mind.

When my dried flowers came in the mail and I was opening them up in front of my husband. This made me wonder if the dried flowers were bad vibes. But now I am thinking that my husband is the bad vibes. He just got all grumpy and naggy with me.

I've used the dried herbs around the home when he is out of state. I have used them in baths and in sachets. He got irrationally angry with me when I put the dried roses in my bath on our honey moon.

I think it was an aide into the world screaming "get away from this person! they are impacting your health. Get w/ the right person" I've attracted a lot of good people and have gotten closer with them.

The dried herbs are at my father in laws house. I think when I get the rest of my stuff back, I will sage everything. LOL
