I was born in august(an 8) on the 8th, in 1961 which adds up to an 8 and my first name also adds up to an 8. my maiden name started with the letter H also an 8. I dont think that the letter 8 is in any way bad luck. I have studied numerology for several years after I heard a numerologist on a talk show tell a lady that the number 8 was bad luck and she should change the number. I talked to alot of people who have the number 8 in their name or in their birthdate. the one thing they all have in common is that they all have alot of inner strength. they are also their own worst critics. Hi, I am Taurus born 26th, just had my 53rd birthday, two of my 4 children were born on the 4th, i live at No 8,in 2004 i met my 3rd husband on 17th may at a house number71, he is also 26th born gemini, he has just turned 35, after fighting to bring him to this country from Jamaica for 3 years he was here for 8 months, he met another woman,got her pregnant and has left me. how fatalistic is that. I am devastated and heartbroken. Can anyone tell me WHAT NEXT TO EXPECT?IP: Logged |

hi sallyjayne, hope things are better now for you. Did you realise that you wrote that on 26th!!I am 4 (22nd february). Many signicant things have happened to me on 4 and 8 days. My husband was a 13 and we lived in number 26. my mother died on 13th june (Friday!) and my father died 26th april. I then met a man who was a 15 which caused me concern after reading about them in lindas star signs!!! We also lived in 267 = 15. Our son was born on 26th. And so it now continues for him! He left for uni last year on 17th, a very emotional time for me. He lived in room 4 of flat 8!! And this year the semester starts on 22nd and the house he will be living in is 76. I havent told him about any of this but he is always saying that 8 is his lucky number. Good luck to all the 4's and 8's out there. Keep smiling!!! And dont let the so and sos' get you down. why do some people use the year to add for the date number and some do not? I was born on the 29th, my name is a 8, my birthdate is an 4. IF you include the year, which a lot of you don't. which is the correct way, adding the year or not? I am a bit confused as how to add them. IP: Logged |

Hello sunshine_lion. To answer your question, according to Chaldean numerology, just the date of your birth will reveal the karmic path. For someone with a birthdate of Mar 13, 1960 it would be the 13. Its reduced number, 4, would reveal personality traits. Many people here are into adding the whole birthdate as this would be the Life Path number in the Pathagorian system (also called Western Numerology). In this example, it would be a 5. Personally, I have not found the Life Path number to be very descriptive of myself or any one I know that I have worked out the numbers for. I do calculate it however because in Chiero's "Book of Numbers" (the source material for Star Signs section on numerology) he makes a brief reference to this having some kind of meaning but does not elaborate in the book. He says it is the day of the birth, the 13, that would be important. I hope this helps. IP: Logged |

I ordered my star signs book today, I am really looking forward to getting it and I think it willbe enlightening as numerolgy isn't something I ever really grasped! I am very excited about my book arrival! being born on 29th and having the 4 and 8 patterns is something I knew nothing about. beka, linda writes in star signs that when you have 4s following you, try to increase the 6 vibration in your life, but not 15, so 6,24,33 and so on and so forth..you could maybe change your spelling of your name to make it a 6, do everything important on the 6th and so on and so forth. my name equaling a 13, i can relate somewhat to the downs of the 4..but they r easier than the downs of the 8!good luck love and peace

Question....What number year will I be working through? I just had a birthday, it is 12/06/1966 but to figure out a temporary number vibration for a year, would I do it this way? 12+6+2009 ? I get confused since I was born so close to the new year. If that is the case, then my year upcoming is an 11????? NOOOO, tell me it isn't!!! I can't handle any master numbers right now. DOB W/YEAR year 8+8+1+9+7+2 = 35 = 8
life path number is 8
1st cycle # = 8
2nd cycle # = 8My name omg I dont even wanna know..... I have definitely had some tough lessons, I have crazy stories to tell. but damn enough is enough....... any year that end with an 8 has been a tough year. Also Bdays that end with an 8.... Im turning 38 this year... Karma is already knocking... I know it... Only I think this time its for transformation.. Wondering how tough this is gonna be.... I met a guy and his sun,mercury,mars fall in my 12th....... In freakin Pisces and Aqua....
