Hey Virgoleorising, we have some things in common - I am an 8 birthday Virgo with Leo rising. I learned about the numbers from the Star Signs book shortly after my 53rd birthday (an 8). It sounds like you were as disturbed by this as I was. If I had learned about this when I was in my 20's, I would have thought it was a load of c**p. But now that alot of the karma has played out, I know to take this seriously. I have written about this previously on these boards so I won't go over too much again, but I can tell you that it is really true about attracting other 8s and 4s and how that ramps up the kharma. Since first learning about this I have done alot of reading about these concepts and am now starting to make some changes to bring in the "6" energy as Linda suggests. thank you for writing back i love positive discourses like this.well on my 31st birthday ( the 17th of september) i went to the library and picked up every numerology, astrology and palm reading book i could find , and like i said my life changed as soon as i read all of linda goodmans books. i soon went and bought them all. i was in a transitional phase in my life, long story, but as soon as i read her books and others it literally was like a lightning bolt of understanding. now when i know that an 8 or 4 day, month or year comes near i prepare for whatever may come my way. I know now that when these periods come (like august is a horrible month) i try to give out more positive energy to try to dilute any bad karma i know could happen, and you know what some amazing experiences have come about. I stress if you have these two karmic paths...change your life to always reflect a positive aura. even if negative karma comes out, and this will sound cliche but look for the silver lining and every time you do that you will realize something, negativity no longer can exist. it's that simple. i now have all my friends and family believing as i do. I have strangers call me (my number given by friends and family) to ask for astological advice and such and with helping people i've seem to counterreact the bad stuff too. so again i say positive energy, positive energy, POSITIVE ENERGY. My name is 17 = 8, my birth number is 13 = 4. Apparently this is awful but like AG, I am not summoning it's negative effects. Instead I am being positive and not giving it's dreadful effect enough power to make any effect in my life.One could say, when I look in retrospect that it is not a good number, but I can't see it like that. I get as much good and bad in my life and the "bad" is as revitalizing as the "good". I couldn't care less if I am cursed because I actually see myself as quite lucky. Are the numbers responsible for this "luck" or is it that I have learned to tame its effect? I dunno, and frankly... I am not bothered. What a great attitude. I am trying to stay positive, but I have to work at it. It used to be alot easier to be positive before I found out about the numbers. I will keep at it though. That's really all anyone can do. IP: Logged |

thats all i was saying before. you can dampen the effects of those vibrations, cause they are real, by being postitive in your life. bad is going to come it's the ying and yang of the universe but knowing that you than you also know something equally good can happen. it says in the secret codes of the universe change somethng in your life to lessen the effect. if that is to ignore it i don't know if good because you may be building up a tidal wave of karmic back lash, or maybe you are someone who has done only good positive stuff and don't have to worry about any nasty negativity. all i know is that when i came into this world i had a wealth of karma i needed to live down... and let me tell you for me its a lot, but quite honestly i embrace it. I wouldn't be the person i am if it wasn't for these vibrations in my life. i don't know a lot of people who have gone thru the kind of life i have and still remain open and completely postitive. so for me and i see others, these things are a real fact of life and a lot of times can be hindering and as a person who knows what they are going thru i cannot not help in their quest in finding the answers they seek in finding a peaceful coexistance with karma(good, bad, or otherwise), faith, hope, and the value of all encompassing positivity.
